I am US citizen and would like to sponsor my sister family (parent and 6 year-old son) to come to USA for permanent living

My question is about the paperwork. Is it complicated? Can I do it by myself or should I hire an attorney?

Do you know the average price for an attorney to do that?

K1's have been backlogged at Juarez for over a year now.

Can you please help me in understanding how to assess a backlog for a different visa type for a different consulate?

For example, Kyiv consulate in Ukraine for IR-5 visa? What would be a good source of information to look at, when understanding if they are processing IR-5 visas in Kyiv and what's the backlog?

Hello guys.I wonder if it's a lot of August filers or maybe July filers who still didn't get their NOA2? Our receipt date is August 21 and since then we didn't hear anything from them. We have submitted a request for an "outside normal processing times" on their site more than a week ago and still didn't get an answer. It's just frustrating that it's taking so long

My wife is going Poland and while she is there she is going to get her police report for her IR-1 visa application. The National Criminal Register in Poland says they give you the report on paper with a signature and an official stamp. If that stamp is not an apostille, does my wife need to get an apostille applied to the report? Her visa interview will be in Kiev, Ukraine.

Need successful PCR test and insurance for Ukraine

I just learned that ALL foreigners entering Ukraine now need to get a successful PCR test within 72 hours of flying to Ukraine AND buy the covid-19 insurance (needs to be good for your ENTIRE stay in Ukraine) before you will be allowed into the country. People currently in Ukraine are exempt.

I am not sure how long this requirement for a successful PCR test will last but it is not currently possible for ANY foreigner to get a PCR test in Ukraine or download Vdoma and self-isolate.

My apologies if this was already posted in this thread.
