Does anyone have a clue as to why NOA2 estimated dates keep getting pushed back further and further? We received our NOA1 back in July and the original estimate was early March. Now it's mid May. The average time between NOA1 and NOA2 last year (at least for Ukraine) was about 7-8 months and now those who received their NOA1 back in Feb-March 2021 are still waiting for NOA2s. What is the bottleneck? This doesn't appear to just be a Ukraine thing but something going on for couples from all different countries. I see like 1-2 NOA2s received each day on the immigration timeline tracker, which seems awfully low given the amount of people who are on this site. Any news or updates that I may have missed involving staff shortages, delays caused by covid, etc. on this front are greatly appreciated.

Hello! I am a US citizen that is petitioning for my wife. We moved from the US to Ukraine 2 years ago, to satisfy her J1 visa, 2-year home residency requirement. We both are currently living in Ukraine and are getting prepared for our return soon. I have not had an income for these past two years, so my Dad has agreed to be a Sponsor. His income is more than sufficient on his own. He files joint taxes with his wife, who is retired. Our questions are: - Since I do not have an income, do I still need to file an I-864 form or would my Dad fill out an I-864 as a sole sponsor alone (is this an option)?
- Would his wife need to fill out an I-864A?
- And lastly, would I need to be counted in the household size on my Dad's form? To clarify, when we return, we intend to live in his house.
We would be grateful for any help and advice that you could offer us.

Hello. My wife and I are finally heading back to Ukraine after nearly 3 years from entry. And the great news is we get to bring our 20 month old daughter to meet with my wife's family. My question is my wife has her 2 year GC, Ukrainian International Passport but her Domestic UA Passport has expired. I don't think it should be a issue but last minute nerves are getting the best of me. We will be bringing both of her passports, Green Card, Marriage Cert, Daughters Birth Cert and my wife's NY Drivers permit. Going through Newark, Warsaw and Lviv airports. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with this? Thanks, Gary

Like many others on here, I have filed an I-130 for both my wife and step-daughter. CR-1 and CR-2. They have the same NOA1, but in the government s infinite wisdom, my wife was assigned to Nebraska, and then immediately transferred toTexas while our daughter was assigned to Potomac. It seems two related cases, which need to be approved together, would be more efficiently handled together. That aside, I could find no way to create a timeline for both, effectively doubling the statistical value to this site. I ended up creating a second login account used only for the CR-2. I ve recently learned that only one account is allowed. I suggest the site revise that rule, or add the capability of multiple timelines.

Okay this is getting a little more than frustrating to figure out. Had no idea my fiance was eligible for a SSN immediately or we would have done that. Anyway what is this I-94? We absolutely did NOT receive one when entering the country and CBP website just says no record found. The border guy just stamped her and her daughters(K2) passports and threw all the paperwork in the trash. How do we go about getting the SSN now that we're married? I realize on the AOS paperwork there is a part that says to have SSN issued however for insurance we need it ASAP. Can somebody tell us how we can do this quickly or what exactly we must do now? We got married within the 90 days and now are just past it. Thanks
