K1 NVC letter for Turkey/Trying to schedule interview

Hello,

My fianc and I are trying to schedule our K1 interview with the Turkish embassy and I have not received the letter from the NVC yet. As of January 4th, the Turkish embassy has started to process K1 visas (https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/).

We have filled out the DS-160, and I believe we are ready to pay our fees and schedule our interview. I contacted the NVC today and they informed me that the embassy has not requested any K1 visas for processing yet. Is this process correct, I feel like we are stuck in a loop as the US embassy scheduling service has told us that we need to contact the NVC and the NVC is telling me to wait for the embassy to contact them. Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Thanks!

Required evidence in reminder letter for i-751

Hi All,

We are currently in process of collecting our documents to send out once our 90 day window opens, and we got reminder letter from Uscis for i-751. In the letter it says "evidence should cover the entire period of marriage". We were putting together only the ones after AOS since we saw most people did that way and due to fact that Uscis already has the evidence before AOS.

My question is: Should we now add the ones before AOS as well based on the statement in the reminder letter?

Thanks for the responses in advance!

Is Original Passport from Home Country Needed When Apply for US Citizenship?? (merged)

Hello. My husband arrived in the US by way of a K3 Visa in January 2013. He is now a permanent resident. He is from Turkey and is planning a trip back to Turkey in February 2021.

His passport that he used to gain entry to the US that contains his K-3 visa and entry stamp has expired. The Turkish consulate advised that he will need to go in person, apply for a new passport and send his expired passport with his application. They WILL NOT return his expired passport with the K-3 visa to him. Once his new passport is issued, his expired passport will be destroyed.

Does my husband need to have his original passport with his K-3 visa, entry stamp and A# to apply for citizenship/naturalization? Will he need this passport at anytime durning the naturalization process?

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. His appointment to renew his passport is this Thursday so we want to ensure he does not renew his passport if he will need his passport with the K-3 visa at any point during the naturalization process.

Has anyone here had to renew their home country passport prior to obtaining US citizenship?

Many thanks!

IR1 I-864 Form Physical Address Issue

Hi,

We are at the moment in process of filling my wife's I-864 form. However in our case things are a little bit complicated;

* My wife is a dual citizen and living outside of USA in her second country for over 10 years now.

* Also she is currently living with me where I am working in a country other than my home country where she is on tourist visa since March 2020 due to covid. So we are living together since March 2020 however due to nature of my job our address changes almost every 3 months. By the way the country we are at the moment is neither my home country, I have residency visa in this country and my wife doesn't.

Under this information, can you please suggest us what is the right way to fill I-864 form regarding the physical address? Should we write where she normally registered in her 2nd country? Should we write our current address in this 4th country which I am working and we are currently living together?

As a side information; in I-130 form which is approved already, we have written her address in her 2nd country.
