Can I Apply For a Tourism Visa While My US Passport is Currently in the Renewal Process? |

Hello, I am in a bit of a bind currently due to my USA passport renewal process taking longer than expected. It is critical that I to travel to Turkey soon but in order to do so I need (1) my renewed USA passport since mine was expiring within 6 months and (2) a Turkey tourism visa (or other visa of some kind which would permit my entry). I have a pending expedited passport renewal which has been in the system for some time and I am going to try and contact my US Representative's office to see if they can do anything at all to help speed it up (desperate, I know...). But I also need to obtain a Turkey Tourism Visa -- but I don't know if/how I can do so given the fact that I am currently renewing my passport. I do have scans of my existing passport that I sent in for renewal, which is valid until November 30th, 2021 (note that this expiration is within 6 months of my travel). Is it possible to apply for the Turkey tourism visa now using my older, but still valid passport's information, or would I really need to wait until if/when I receive my renewed passport to do so? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

Hello everyone! I have a problem. When we filed the K1 package my husband was deployed and we used his parents address in Baltimore as mailing address. When we filed the AOS package we kept the same address because we had to move in one month. After that time we moved like 3 times because of my army duty assignments so I didn't want the mails from USCIS got lost so I kept the parents address still. I wasn't aware that I had to let USCIS know the physical address change since the mailing address was gonna stay same. We are living in the Kansas for nearly 7 months now and I got my interview date notice for Baltimore office. I just figured it out that I have to inform them about address change while doing research for AOS interview today and filed the AR-11 immediately. I am freaking out after everything I read about the consequences such as deportation. Can you inform me if anyone had the same thing before? And how the change of address gonna effect my interview in Baltimore? Should I still go there on interview date? Thank you so much in advance.

My wife received her GreenCard on 02/22/2021 and now she was offered a great paying full time job overseas, not in her country of origin, but in Denmark. While the K1 was a long and tough process, she doesn't want to throw it all away but the offer is REALLY good, better than anything she has been offered here. If we decide to come back to the US someday, how difficult will it be for her to get a greencard then, after say 5-10 years? We knew that we would end up in the EU somewhere but we didn't expect it quite so soon. Thank you in advance!

I recently renewed my EAD. Before my application in this forum I read that AP was going to arrive separately, and the card would only serve as EAD. Recently I received my new card, and it has I-512 on it. My AP application case status says the case was received, even though I got the AP through I-512. I just wanted to share the information. I hope it'll be useful. I sent my package to Chicago lockbox. It took 2.5 months to get the card.
