Filed I-130 for my wife, she's from China, she did graduate school in Macau for 4 years. She already has her Chinese police certificate, does she need one from Macau as well? Macau is Chinese territory that's kind of autonomous, and no one in China would consider Macau to be a different country. Also, during her time there she would regularly go to Zhuhai, which is in the mainland, and did it almost weekly. So there was definitely no time where she's in Macau continuously for 12 or 6 months. Thanks.

Hello, Is it better to side load at NVC or take additional evidence to the interview? I ve read some conflicting info, all anecdotal of course. Some say that it can affect a COs decision (I ve also heard a CO makes a decision before the interview even happens and if you side load it can end up making the decision positive?) I ve also heard that they could already have made a decision and not even consider hand brought evidence and deny. Others say it won t affect their decision even if side loaded. Some say it s a red flag. Again others say an I-130s approval is enough since that means the CO would believe the relationship based on the available info and adding additional info without their asking could cause them to reconsider what USCIS already decided. of course I m once again asking for opinions, but still curious and confused. Our original I-130 only has one meeting together, whereas we ve met a few more times since filing. Thanks!

I'm just starting the NVC process for my wife's CR1, but thinking ahead and wondering if once our case is approved and ready for an interview, how long we could delay the interview. Although we have a plan of when we want to move, we are having a baby soon and if we decide to stay longer (we live in Taiwan), could we tell them we want to wait on our interview? How far could we push it out if that's the case / is there a timeline of when we would be expected to finish up the case with the interview?
