I received the RFE, and the content of the letter mentioned that there were two things I did not know how to respond. 1. Please submit proof of (beneficiary) non-expired U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status. 2. Please add (beneficiary) as (applicant) Household Member, and submit all of their documents under (beneficiary)'s name.

Hi there, Hope everyone is doing well out there. I sent out my AOS package (with the concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765) on Aug.17, and received my first NOA on Sep.16. My visa has expired on Sep. 28, my visa status should have changed to "I-485 Pending". As I know, I won't have a SSN before my EAD is issued. Right now I would like to enroll in my husband (USC)'s medical insurance plan (as a spouse). Even though the insurance company could accept my enrollment without a SSN, HR needs proof that I'm a "Legal Resident". Is there a way to find out my current visa status to prove my legal residency? Any feedbacks are appreciated, cheers!

Hello friends. I'm a March filer and I haven't received my NOA2/RFE. Earlier this year in June I went to the Spain consulate (or whatever it's called) here in Taiwan to request a copy of my police record (I lived in Spain in high school, so 16-18-ish) They told me the entire government was shut down so they could just do it electronically for me. I received the files via email and they're mostly in Spanish. My questions: 1. Would I need to get it translated and notarized? 2. Does it matter if it's not an original copy? What else am I missing I'm so lost. Thank you!

I am sending documents to IEE for my high school degree equivalency evaluation and for now I only have the scanned copy. On the IEE website it says they are accepting scanned copies during Covid-19 and the evaluation will be marked as "provisional". And the acceptance of these evaluations are at the full discretion of the receiving institution or agency. I am wondering would the provisional evaluation cause issue when submitting to USCIS for I944?

Hi all, I was hoping someone can help me with a problem. I received an RFE this April, I have submitted the additional documents in May, it's been almost 5 months but I have not heard anything from USCIS yet. I'm already eligible to file N400, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to file it when I got an RFE. Has anyone encountered the same situation ? Can I file N400 even though I received an RFE and haven't heard from USCIS yet ?
