Name in application

Hi!

I'm having some trouble figuring out how I should write my name in the application. In Sweden some parents think its a great idea to name their kids so the middle name is technically written first of the given names while the last written name is the one that's actually "used". My passport actually doesn't state one of being a middle name of the two names but on my drivers license and credit cards it only says the name that's written last.

As an example the name is written "Alice Caroline" under given names in my passport while it only says "Caroline" on drivers license and such and is also the only name that I'm using. How should I fill out the papers? Should I write both of them under given names or put one under middle name? Or should I write both names under given names but write "Caroline" as an alias so they are not suspicious if I provide some kind of proof of our relationship where it doesn't state both given names?

Advice on Filing Taxes?

I am in the process of filing my taxes for 2019. I got married to my foreign spouse in July in Sweden, and we have a I-130 pending. To my understanding, I am required to file as "married filing separately," correct? While talking to my tax guy, he said I should just file as "single" since my husband has no SSN and I can't e-file. I have looked at other sites, and it says I am not allowed to file as "single" since I am legally married. Plus, when the time comes to submit the I-864, it would be weird if I didn't file under married.

So my question is, what have other people done in the past? Should I just file as MFS by mail and omit the SSN? Or do I apply for a ITIN for my husband?

Hello! Trying to plan and organize all the documents I need for my K1 interview. I have not gotten the NOA2 yet but I like to be well prepared. I need to get a police certificate from Australia from when I lived there for a year. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive it and for how long it is valid? :)

Sok Loeun, a Cambodian refugee, had self-deported due to what advocates call a failure at every level.

A U.S. citizen and former refugee, who was put in deportation proceedings years ago, has finally returned to the country from Cambodia.

Sok Loeun, who had first arrived in the United States legally with refugee status, landed in San Francisco on Wednesday after spending five years in Cambodia.

When Customs and Border Protection started the proceedings in 2015, prompted by an old drug conviction, Loeun had actually been a citizen for almost two decades, unbeknownst to him at the time. When he was threatened with deportation, he self-deported due to what advocates call a massive administrative oversight error and a failure at every level.

According to Anoop Prasad, an attorney at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Asian Law Caucus, who facilitated Loeun s return, he is the third person to return from Cambodia after mistakenly being put in deportation proceedings.

The United States, of course, may not deport its own citizens but it happens far too often, he told NBC News. As long as the United States follows mass deportation policies, we know this will continue to happen.

Roughly 75 people, including Loeun's family members, showed up at San Francisco International Airport with signs and drums to welcome him back

B2 Visa for Thai in Sweden

My family are coming to visit me in the US for two weeks in May. They're Swedish citizens (I moved to the US on a K1 visa Aug 2019) so luckily they can travel on ESTA. My dad's wife however, is a Thai citizen who's been in Sweden for two years now I believe, so she's a permanent resident but not a citizen yet. I have two questions regarding her.

1. She would be able to apply for a B2 Visa at the US Embassy in Sweden, correct?

2. Her passport expires in September 2020, but the 6 month rule won't affect her right?
