Hello all, this is for everyone of us who is curious to know what all President Trump will say about the EO and the upcoming order to suspend H-1B, L-1 and other temporary work visas. Hello, I saw on NVC website there taking about 4 months to review cases now. And with the Embassies closed for routine visa interviews since March 20th 2020 doesn't that mean Visa Interviews appointments are also back logged about 3 months currently? So all together about 7 months of waiting or more depending on how long they keep the visa interviews closed at the Embassies?

Or do some people think once the embassy reopens visa interviews they will pick the exceptions to the executive order (spouses of USC for example) and grant them visa interviews earlier so the back log isn't as long for certain people?

I would love to hear what others think.

And if other's think my math is right or if others have a different opinion.

Hey Everyone,
Currently a situation has occurred and we have decided to remain in Sweden. Living in Sweden now, we had filed all of our paperwork, got approved from the NVC recently, and are waiting on a date for the interview at the embassy. But as this may come as a shock to some, we can not move to the states. So a few questions have risen.

1.) Should a formal letter be written to the NVC and to contact the embassy to inform them of the situation?
2.)Is there a possibility of punishment such as a fine or a travel ban (my wife is not allowed into the U.S. for example)?
3.)Can we still go through with the process and move to the states years later? (guessing obviously not....)
4.)May we reapply for a green card in the future (in 10-12 years)?

This decision has rocked us to the core and I want to be a 100% on what the consequences will be.
