My husband was a student last year and graduated this year and now works at a full-time job making about 3x more than the minimum amount for the affidavit of support. He was a student the past few years and his income was clearly limited those years (i.e. below the minimum) which is reflected on his tax returns. He did work at an internship full-time during the summer and part-time during the semester and has worked during breaks the years before that as well for additional income. Our question is, would it be a good idea to provide proof that he was a student (diploma, trancripts) in addition to his steady employment history while being a student? Will this be a problem in terms of the affidavit of support even though he makes enough money now and we can provide them with a letter from the employer and paystubs? Just looking to get some help on deciding if we need to submit this extra documentation or if his letter and paystubs will be enough. Getting co-sponsor is not an option as his parents do not make enough money.

I have seen several people talk about how nervous they are about sending their naturalization certificate in the mail to apply for their passport.. When checking different websites it seems as if you can't even apply for a passport via mail when it's your first passport, so what do all these people mean about sending their naturalization certificate? After you have received your first passport and need to renew it in the future, do you THEN send your certificate somewhere? You have to send it everytime you need a passport?

Btw, the only thing I have received after submit yesterday is an email stating that "Your payment has been submitted to Pay.gov... ". When I go to my account, I don't see the "Documents" tab which supposed to show which documents have been submitted. Is this normal? How long does it take to get to this stage?

I am getting my medical exam done this Saturday. Me and my husband will be moving early next month so we will be putting that address on our application (we will likely have moved by the time we send it in). Should I put our current address on form I-693 or the one we will be living at when we are submitting our application? We are not sure if it matter or not but maybe one of you would know!
