Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Is anyone else here filing to remove the conditions from their conditional green card (I-751) this month? We are planning to send all documents by the end of this month; however, I am a bit confused about what it means to 'not send original documents'. Are we supposed to make a photocopy of the signed, completed I-751 form and not send the "original" form? Or do we send the form that we filled out directly, use it for our application package and just make a photocopy for ourselves, for our own reference? Also, it seems alarming to me that some of you have experiences where the USCIS is following up with notices saying that the I-751 form is outdated, while literally using the form available on the USCIS website. That form lists 2019, so which other form would be used? Finally, we have accidentally locked ourselves out of our USCIS account and do not have access to our USCIS Online Account Number. Is it absolutely necessary to include this number on the I-751 form? Good luck to all of you and thank you for all of your support! Best, J

I had my medical exam in sweden 2019 summertime. Came to the country with k-1 visa. Got married. I applied my greencard 2019 December. Had my interview Feb 2021. Now this week I got mail that I need to submit MEDICAL EXAM. why? And how do I do it here? I already did it and submit it at the airport. this is so stressful that I feel like giving up and going back to my country.

Hi everyone, Does anyone have any good recs for a Civil Surgeon in the Bay Area, preferably in San Francisco? I called one today and they charged around $800...seems crazy. Any recommendations are appreciated, especially one that accepts vaccinations from my own primary physician (I took a few vaccines last year to avoid taking them all in one day). Thanks!

Have I got it correctly thinking that federal student aid is not a means-tested benefit that might come back to bite me later if I want to apply for naturalization? I am a LPR, and I was going to register for a class at a local city college course this winter, and the college is now sending me information about possible financial aid I could apply for.

I was wondering if there's a list or other information on which field offices tend to be fast and which ones take a little more time in general. I'm just curious after reading in a thread that someone got their green card after about three months due to the field office being a fast one. I know from before that it matters where in the country you live when it comes to how fast that field office is in general. So this peaked my curiosity and I was wondering about it.
