A question about visiting after marrying, but before filing petition for CR-1.... |

Guys, I'm hoping to marry my fiance at the end of July. We both wish to do things correctly, and we do not wish to do anything underhanded as regards immigration. So here is my question.... Would it be OK for my wife to return with me to the US before filing for the CR-1, as long as she goes back shortly thereafter? She knows she must still reside in Spain until the visa is approved, but that she can make limited visits. I am a little worried that if she were to fly back with me right after marrying, even though she will return to Spain shortly (and of course she would have a return ticket), that this might cause problems with the CR-1 process. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thank you!

Hi guys, I am about to finish the I-944. I am currently a F1 international students doing my masters in the US. So my question is: should I indicate this in the part that they ask for the attained degrees... or I only write what I already have? (I do not finish my masters until next year) What would you guys do? I feel like studying in the US a masters might have a positive impact for them, so I'd want to try to state it. I hope that makes sense. Thank you

Hi, First time posting here as we are just getting the process started. We intend to marry exactly a year from now, and have the I129F form filled out. My fianc is based in NYC. The USCIS website says that the processing time for the Vermont Processing Center is between 17 and 22 months, whereas in California it is only 5 - 7 months. Should I be concerned about our wedding plans? Will USCIS send it to CA as it has a much shorter wait time? Or is it going to Vermont as it is the one usually handling cases for New York?

Hello, I am a little confused with the address part. Now I am currently in the US and that's clearly address 1, but then before I came to the US I was living some months in my parent's house in my hometown in Spain after coming back from Kenya where I worked for 2 years. Previous to Kenya, I have lived in my hometown with my parents, in the same house, for all my life. So, the question is: do I have to repeat the same address in my hometown, since in the middle I went to work to Kenya? Like: US, Spain, Kenya, Spain? How you guys would indicate this? Thank you

Hello, When filling out the forms for AoS... in all those blanks that I don't have information to write (like the part of children because I don't have them), do I have to write N/A in all those blanks or it's not necessary for example in those big sections like the children one? If I need to write N/A, I assume I can do that once I print it with black ink pen? I hope you can help, Thank you!
