US Immigration from South Korea

Hello,

I just arrived to Arizona today. My husband and I got married in my country, Korea. Do I need to get married again here? I ask because my husband called his insurance and they said I need to marry him again in America. Then he called the Arizona court, and they said we don't need to marry again, and to show the Korean marriage certificate to his insurance company.

Does all this sound right or accurate?

I'm currently in the process of gathering my documents in preparation for the visa interview at the embassy. I was wondering what I needed for proof of our ongoing relationship. I am currently in Seoul, South Korea, with my fiance, so should I just submit recent photos we have taken with each other? Also, I will be accompanying her in person to the interview, so would that help?

I am unable to find any instructions on what to do when I get to point of entry. Do I just give my passport to someone and they give me visa?

Actually, before I get to PHX, I will layover in Texas. Is that where I do whatever I need to be able to proceed?

Hi guys,

In New Jersey we have naturalization interview and oath ceremony the same day. However, if our interview time is after 2 PM they schedule the oath ceremony and send the notice by mail. I passed the interview on 10/30/2019, but yet to receive the oath ceremony letter. In the meantime, I got a notification on my USCIS account that on 11/18/2019 they scheduled my oath ceremony, however, I cannot find the letter on the Document Tab. So frustrating. Is anyone in New Jersey have the same issue?

My speaking and listening English is no very good since I can't use dictionary or translator. How do I make some friend? My husband doesn't have many friends these days since everyone works. Actually I don't like some of his friends.

I am from Korea, and would like to make American or Korean friends. I don't want to be lonely when my husband works.

I will live in Arizona, Phoenix. There are not many Koreans here.
