Hi everyone, So after a super dramatic week, I ended up having the AOS interview afterall. During the interview, the IO told us that they did not receive the original I-129F form from their head office we will need to wait until that is received then a decision will be made. He also handed us a piece of paper that states: "Your case is being held for review. At this time, USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you. Should further information or documents be required, you will receive a notice in the mail. We may also schedule you for another interview, you will receive a notice in the mail. Otherwise, a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete. Has anyone encountered this same problem where the field office did not receive the original I-129F prior to the interview? Why wouldn't they have it already by the time we were scheduled for an interview? is it possible that they lost it? What would happen if they lost it? Thanks all!

Ok i'm freaking out over here. On 1/27, the status changed to "Interview Was Scheduled" and after NOT receiving the interview letter for weeks, I found out that my status changed to "Notice was Returned to USCIS Because the Post Office Could Not Deliver it". It's almost been 45 DAYS since my "interview was scheduled" and I am CERTAIN that I missed my interview. I dont know why USPS failed to deliver when every other notices were delivered fine?!! First thing first I filed for e-request and then second I am in queue to talk to a Tier 2 officer. What else can I do now?.. The wait is over 5 hours just to talk a Tier 2 officer.

Hi guys, Our case has been in the process of transfer since Nov 2019 and our status changed from TP to Ready 10days ago. New embassy code was following after our original case number. I contacted to embassy as I haven t gotten any notification from them. According to them, our file hasn t arrived yet and they ll contact when our file arrives. Does it mean our case was transferred electronically only? Doesn t matter with status on online, saying Ready? It s almost been 4 months since we requested transfer. So frustrating. Anybody had a similar experience? Please share with me. TIA.

Hey guys! Just a little question. What can we put in the address where the beneficiary will stay in the US? My fianc is in the military and he s currently stationed in Fort Irwin. Is it okay if we put his address right now even if he s staying in the barracks? Any suggestions?? Thank you in advance!
