I just wanted to share my experience to help anyone who goes through similar situation.

couple of years ago, I was sent back at the airport in the states for inadmissibility due to misrepresentation.

Soon after my then-fiance now husband and I applied K-1 Visa and I was able to come back to the states with K-1 Visa.

We got married and applied for AOS in June 2019 and had an interview in December 2019.

But they sent me a Notification of Intent to Deny letter in March 2020 and of course we were panicked.

Luckily, we found an amazing lawyer and his team and they did amazing job on our case in such a difficult time.

They submitted the package in early June and 3 weeks later we got the first notification they received our package and started processing.

After about a month, I got a text message, email and app notification saying that our AOS case was approved and USCIS ordered a green card!

Now I'm expecting the final notification letter and the green card come to my mailbox!

It was very stressful and nerve breaking time since the interview went so bad last year.

I just wanted to cheer and say to you guys going through this that don't give up and wish you guys the best luck!

Hello ! I recently submitted my I-129f in the mail. Though I quadruple checked everything, I overlooked a small typo where I wrote that I lived at one of my previous addresses from August - December of 2020 (which hasn t even happened yet clearly. I meant to write 2016). It was a college dormitory which I indicated under the dates I lived there (this was in part 8. Extra information). does anyone know if I should reach out as soon as I get a case number? If this is my only incorrect info will it cause immense delays? If anyone has advice I would so appreciate it.

Chinese wife wants to return from China

My wife went back to China mid March to get treatment for her hyperthyroidism as it was getting very expensive even on my insurance. She also left to avoid the covid as I am an essential worker. So when she tried to contact various airlines in China, they said she couldn't return to the US even though she has a 2 year greencard and married to me an american citizen. As I understand it, she is allowed to re-enter since I am considered family. I'm not sure if one side or the other is misunderstanding the situation, but I have been trying to find a government page that shows she is legally allowed to re-enter the US. I've found various advice sites and lawyer websites, but didnt find the statement yet on the travel.state.gov website or through a search. Anyone have a quick link so she can show the airline? We need to get her back here to start the I-751 paperwork as her 2 year expires I January. Plus I dont want her to be out of the country for over 6 months.

Received NOA2 (petition is approved) but haven't heard from NVC, and I can't call because of COVID: how do I find adjusted processing times?

I'm looking at the flowchart here, and I'm on step 4. My NOA2 says my visa has been approved and the approval notice is from 06/09/2020 to 10/08/2020. I called the NVC but they are not picking up the phone due to the pandemic (fewer staffing). 4 weeks from June 8th was last Monday the 29th, and so I'd expect either my fianc e would be contacted by the embassy or I would be contacted by the NVC informing me that they have sent the petition to the embassy. Neither has happened yet. So is there any way I can find updated processing time numbers or are we all just in the dark and hoping for the best? Should I be concerned or is approval and contact times slower for everyone now with no real deadlines? Because if the USCIS is allowed to take extra time I feel like my validation date should be extended.

So I have a case number, but my documents are still stuck at nvc. Its been ovef a month. I called nvc and they said the consulate in Seoul where we are sending them to is not accepting mail packages. So that's why they haven't sent it. I called Seoul and they said they will let the people in charge know what's going on. My K1 is only valid until July 25 as stated on Noa2. Has anyone run into this problem before or right now? I'm anxiously waiting and getting so nervous.
