Updating citizenship status with Social Security - haven't received my forms

So with COVID, the SS office is not accepting in-person appointments and everything is essentially through mail/phone. My husband received his citizenship certificate in November and was told to update his status with SS after about two weeks. We contacted SS and they told us to have him mail his original certificate along with an N-565 form. We mailed it on 12/11 and have called back each week only to be told that it's not "in the system" and to check back later. I'm so worried that the forms were lost in the mail! We stupidly did not send it through certified mail so we can't even confirm if they received it or not. :(

I'm wondering if this is normal for it to take this long for them to process our forms or if we have reason to suspect the mail has been lost. Anyone ever been in a similar situation? Should we just keep waiting? How long is too long to wait before worrying?

Hello,

For i130 filed online, are all communication notifications from USCIS & NVC done through email?

I'm mainly concerned about missing any notices, if they are sent to a physical address.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Are I-130 and I-485 filings allowed in this case?

Hello,

I am (US citizen) about to marry a non-US woman whose parent filed a I-485 that was previously denied for potential misrepresentation and fraud (work-related reasons). While this case was submitted for an appeal to motion to reopen/reconsider, the individual (whom I am marrying) has her work permit expired as well. My question is would it pose any problem if we were to submit a petition (I-130) and I-485 after our upcoming marriage while her parent's case (appeal to motion) is still being processed?

Hello,

We are about to file i130 for Korean wife. According to the forum, it seems the the beneficiary's job isn't as important as the petitioner's. We have listed her current job as asked on the i130a form.

Would it be a potential problem if she either quit the job or changed after i130 is filed or as the i130 process moves along?

On another note, we also thought keeping her job was important as if she were to visit the states on tourist ESTA during the process, the CBP officer wouldn't suspect her of overstaying 90-day visa since she has a job back home.

Any advice is greatly appreciated,

Hi guys

im freaking out lately so asking everybody for help,

so i filed my i-751 in november, and it arrived USCIS office on 11/23.

It has been like over a month and i havnet got any e-notification, even tho i filed g-1145 , and check hasnt taken out, of course no NOA1 yet.

I guess november, december is the holiday season so there might be a delay?

you guys think it is normal?

or there are any people who filed i751 around the end of november and got NOA already? or everybody is experiencing this slowness?

FYI im living in california and filed to arizona service center.
