Hi there! I'm in the process of filing my N400, but I just wanted some clarification into Part 8 - Employment and School. They need information of employment/school for the last 5 years. But I just wanted to confirm that we are to add every single time we were unemployed, even if it was brief. Is this correct? For example, I finished school December 2015, but was unemployed for about 3 months - they need to know I was unemployed during this 3 month period? I know this might sound like a silly question, but better safe than sorry and have the application delayed. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I have been recently naturalized and my passport is currently in process. I'm also searching for federal jobs and I landed an interview for a citizen-only government job. Do I need to update my SSN ASAP (if I get an offer)? Or would that not pose a problem since I have my passport and I can use that for the form I-9? Some say that SSN update is for tax/benefits. I read some mixed answers in different places and I am not sure which information is correct. Thank you in advance.

Good Day, So, long story short I got a notice of action and have to resubmit my package to USCIS after making some corrections. The Form I-797C says that I should mail this package to the address at the bottom of the paper. "USCIS P.O. Box 21200 Phoenix, Arizona 85036. But I saw online that this is only to be used if I am shipping with the USPS. I was planning to do UPS shipping because I heard it was faster. But the UPS address to use is different than the USPS one on the USCIS website. Should I just use UPS to send this new package since they want it shipped to that specific address? What do you guys think? Anyone have any experience related to this? Thank you!

I just got my package back return with an i-797C Notice of Action - because "the application/petition was filed on an outdated version of this form. Please resubmit your application/petition on the current version of this form with the appropriate feesnto the address listed on the bottom of this page." Please correct me if I am wrong, I got this form from the i-751 pages under forms and the current date they have on there is for 12/31/2019? I just looked again to make sure and that is the one I am still currently seeing. Please help if anyone has any other information!

Has anyone here had any experience with a 'Response to USCIS' Request for Evidence Was Received' taken an eerie amount of time to approve? We filed in July 2020 and received our RFE notification on 23 Feb 21 and received/returned it by mail on 27 Feb 21 and they received it on 1 Mar 21 for a question left unanswered, Did you meet through an IMB?' - which was no. The site was NOT an IMB and the response only asked for documentation if it was 'yes'. We're currently at 35 days waiting and we're starting to get a little nervous. Does anyone have any insight on why ours may be taking longer than others we've seen? Will some agents prioritize NOA1 date over returned RFE date? Do agents go on vacation/handle medical/family emergencies without passing off their case load? I've actually assisted another in returning the SAME RFE (I did advise them to double check with a lawyer) and it was returned AFTER us and approved within a week. I've seen no less than 8 cases on my various non VJ groups also have similar results, many of which with more intricate RFEs (intent to marry, clarification of law breaking incident, proof of 2 year meeting requirement). Calling/Infopass is met simply with the canned 'we have 60 days' and 'each case is different' response. I love statistics so I've also used the CASE TRACKER app to find the 5,000 cases before AND after us (totaling 10,000) - isolated K-1 visas who have RETURNED the RFE but waiting on the response. Out of the 135 I have listed, only 3 have a LONGER last update and 3 have the SAME last update time.
