US Immigration from South Korea

Hello,

The title is pretty much it. My wife (Korean, currently living in Korea) got her interview scheduled early April. Can she visit the States (where I live) on ESTA around late Febuary-ish? I ve heard of people visiting US on ESTA while I-130 is pending (and we did it as well) but I haven t heard of it while its during NVC stage or after the interview is scheduled.

My wife s green card expires on 4/13/24, so I am in the process of gathering documents and wanted people s feedback on our items.

- Table of contents

- Check for $680

- Front and back copies of wife s green card

- Copy of marriage certificate

(For evidence of continued marriage)

- Tax transcripts from the last three years

- Car insurance with both of our names listed

- Apartment leasing contracts from 2020 to 2024

- All joint bank statements from October 2021

- Recent photos together

- Copies of both our driver s licenses

- Recent pay stubs to show our same residence address

Please let me know if I am missing anything or any other additional feedback. Thank you!

Seoul Center. Already have interview date scheduled in 30 days exactly.

Updates since then:

1. Signed new contract with Korean company at higher income

2. I'm leaving the Korean job in 1 month when I move to US and have signed offer letter with US company

3. Got 2022 tax transcript finally. Originally submitted 1040 return with all schedules + letter from my accountant explaining all sorts of stuff (such as no W-2, FEIE etc)

Questions

1. Do I need to upload the new tax transcript?

2. Do I also bring the 1040 and all that prior stuffs?

3. Do I need to bring my current Korean contract? (will only have ONE pay period Jan at higher income then I'm quitting)

4. Upload the new US job letter since to solidify domicile? I already uploaded my drivers license, accounts, credit card, bills, etc.

For providing all pages of utility and bank statements to be submitted, since these are available as PDF, has anyone had experience with submitting these documents in a reduced size? if I were to print them out as is, the entire statements would exceed 150 pages.

For example, printing 2 pages per side of a sheet of paper in landscape mode. If double-sided, one sheet of paper effectively contains 4 pages of a statement.

Any insights or experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!

Copy of Permanent Resident Card (front and back)
Copy of our daughter s Birth Certificate (front and back)
Copies of both of our Driver s licenses/ID (front and back)
Copies of the tax transcripts for the previous two years (2021 and 2022)
Copy of joint bank account(Bank of America) statements for last twelve months.
Copy of Charles Schwab Designated Beneficiary stating petitioner as 100% primary beneficiary.
Copy of recently (September 2023) opened Charles Schwab college savings plan for our daughter listing both of our names as joint owners.
Copy of utility bills in both of our names for last twelve months.
A page of family photo college from last two years(2022-2023)
