US Immigration from South Korea

Hi all!

My wife s 18 months extension expired and we got an infopass appointment at our local USCIS office. They did give her an one year extension stamp on her passport. We were just thinking earlier .they took away her expired green card. Is that correct? I ve seen people still has possession of their expired green card.

Morning! My wife is a military dependent (I am active duty) - we entered her DOD ID number as her known traveler number but it did not generate a TSA Pre Check on her boarding pass. Spirit said she d be fine but they made her go through regular security at the gate. Currently TSA Precheck is only accepting applications for LPRs or conditional LPRs. Anyone with a foreign spouse/military dependent have luck getting approved for TSA Pre Check?

Anyone here that filed to remove condition on greencard? Have you received any mail yet? Have you had your biometric or called up for interview? Or Even the 24 months extension letter. It's almost a year now.

We were recently approved for CR1 in Korea and received this placard. Seems they done away with "sealed envelope" aka IV Packet

Has anyone had an experience with activating their CR1 Visa recently at the point of entry?

Any testimonial involving Seattle or Portland POE is really appreciated.

We are trying to verify some information we found on VisaJourney.

Upon entering the US with CR1, does one still get the I-515 stamp at the airport?

Secondly, with the stamp, is the immigrant allowed to leave the states and come back _without_ the green card up to a year?

The reason we ask is that we may need to head back to the origin country(Korea) before receiving the card to tie up some loose ends.
