We applied for a expedited passport for a new born on 10/28. passportstatus.state.gov been showing "In Process" ever since. Reps on 877-487-2778 tells us to just wait. But for how long? It's already been over 6 weeks. Is it time to write a letter to the senator?

Has anyone filed N-565 because they lost their Certificate of Naturalization recently? We had couple question while filing N-565. 1. USCIS wants how/when/where we lost the Naturalization Certificate. For us, we don't know. What has other folks put down for this? 2. For uploading supporting documents, is the 2x2 Passport and copy of the original certificate all is needed? They have some verbiage about sending in original documents, but we are not sure which original documents they are referring to. Besides these two. Thank you.

Hello. just got two e-mail notifications about my case status. One says that my interview has been scheduled and the other says initial review . I assume that initial review is reviewing my background check because I didn t submit my finger prints with my N-400 application. Has anyone had this notifications or knows what this means exactly? Plus, I ve tried to log on to USCIS website and it seems having trouble to open the page.

My wife has been in the USA with her green card for over a year now. She now wants to change her last name to mine, although I mentioned it was her choice when we initially filed our case. I m not sure how I do this or which place to start. We have our marriage certificate from South Korea and all of her documents, but everything is in her maiden name. if this question doesn t belong here please help and direct me on where to start. thank you
