US Immigration from South Africa

I have recently gained citizenship and I want to file for my 7 year old son. His mother and I are not together but because his visa was denied 3 times, we feel like getting him his citizenship is the right way to go. The problem now is, I don't know what application I need to submit. Do I file a form I-130 or N-600? He lives in a different country with his mother and she's the primary caregiver for now.

I am very depressed, I need some help here, After co approved my visa on the 24th oct, case on CEAC says ready and when wife contacted them, next day it changes to Administrative Processing and later that day I got a letter from the embassy stating I should submit....

The interviewing officer reviewed your case, and we require you to submit continued and recent communications between you and your spouse (phone calls, messages, etc), proof of spouse subsequent visits to Nigeria/S.A., recent photographs.

I responded back to the embassy where to send the document, as I waited for days without response I had to send the documents through Aramex and I paid for it.

Now later I got the DHL certificate in email, do you think its going to be a problem as I have mailed it express mail through Aramex to the embassy and I saw they got it as someone signed for it.

Who have gone through this process and how long will it take since I have already mailed it out to them for them to look at and finish already.

My husband and I are busy filing for a CR-1 with intent to go to the interview in Johannesburg. After receiving approval from the NVC, does anyone have experience with how long the waits are for the interview appointments? 1 month? 2 months? I checked their website, but it only mentions the wait time for non-immigrant visas.

Is there any restrictions for my wife in South Africa to visit me on a vacation visa in the USA while having an I-130 in progress ?

My Dad completed his DS-160 application and submitted it. I reviewed the confirmation page and his birth-date is incorrect. The month and year is correct. The day is incorrect.

How can this be corrected on the application?

He is South African, visiting the U.S.
