I'm not 100% sure if this is the right subforum to put this in, but I'm a little confused. I came to the US on an L1-B. My wife is on an L2. She does not work. My initial i94 expired on 13th July 2020. I had a business trip to the UK in January so I used that as an opportunity to renew my L1 in London. This was renewed until November 2021. My wife did not fly with me on this trip so her i94 still expires 13th July 2020. We have an in -process 485 application going on as well, but this was only submitted November 2019. I am not expecting the interview before this end of this year. We are about to submit i539 to extend my wife's i94. But I'm confused as to what could go wrong. If this is not approved yet by July 13th, what happens? We both have EAD/AP cards due to the i485 applications so is she okay or not? Would it be better for her to fly back to London herself and get her L2 renewed? If there is any problem with that, can she return on her EAD/AP? Any information would be appreciated

Hi there, I have my interview coming this wednesday and I've gathered all my documents together but was wondering if anyone had any ideas for other documents I might include. As I understand it the reason for the interview is to establish that the marriage is real. Excluding all the obvious stuff like passports, NOA forms, birth certificates etc, I have: - Joint bank account statement that has both our names on it.
- Utility bills - All written out in my name but with our address.
- Rent bills - With my spouses name, but has same address.
- Photos of us over the last year.
- Marriage certificate.
- Invoices for our second wedding to be in South Africa of May this year. (First/legal wedding was court house marriage and was very small.)
- Invoice for flights to South Africa for second wedding.
- Letters from family addressed to booth of us from out of state and out of country.
Will this be enough? Should I try get more documents that have both our names on them? I'm not entirely sure what kind of document is best for this as bills are usually only made out in one person's name. Does anyone have any ideas? Furthermore, does anyone think that mentioning our second wedding will be confusing and suspicious? We are currently legally married but neither of our family attended the first wedding. The second wedding will no be legally binding at all, more of a party with family.

Hi there, I have my K1 AOS interview coming up next week and I had a question regarding the checklist of stuff to bring. Where they say that we should bring copies of all previous documents submitted, does this mean in regard to AOS, or to the entire K1 process going all the way back to pre-NOA1? I can get all that stuff but printing it all out is going to make for one hell of a wad of paper. I'm aware that most of the stuff is brought along just as a precaution and the amount of stuff they actually need to see is much simpler. How far back should I go in terms of bringing all documents? Thanks in advance
