Hi guys, urgently need help about my AOS application. Sent it out on the 14th, and i just got a rejection notice today. On the rejection notice, it said that i-944 and i-864 was required. But I submitted both of the forms with tons of supporting evidence so I am unable to tell what is wrong? Also N/A'ed all the appropriate sections that didnt apply to me. One thing that bugs me is that they returned the i-485, i-864 and i-864a, but my entire i-944 and supporting documents was not. Is it possible that it got lost inside the system? Also, I had file for AP and EAD at the same time, but those forms and documents were not returned to me either. When i refile my AOS package, would I have to refile these forms as well? Any advice on the above would be really appreciated.

Hi all, been something bugging me since POE, and was wondering if anyone else encountered similar issues. I came in to the US via San Francisco (SFO) on a K1 visa on January 29th 2020. At POE, the officer opened the yellow packet given to me by the embassy, and returned some documents like evidence of relationship, photographs etc. They also returned my medical documents back to me. At that time, I thought it was abit odd, but was just relieved that the POE was smooth to question. I asked the officer whether they don't need the medical, and he said no. Just wondering if anyone knows if these records are copied into the USCIS system or anything. And if there is anything I should do on my end.

Dear all, lots of fretting since sending out the AOS package on 14th April and hearing nothing yet. And today I just read the USCIS filing tips that advises single-sided printing for everything, and realising we sent everything double-sided. Has anyone sent in their stuff all double-sided and gotten through the process unscathed? Also sent in passport photos without names written on the back, somehow missed that out. Am wondering whether my package will just be rejected and sent back. Any reassurances and advice would be greatly appreciated

The trump Administration is planning to pass an Executive Order in the next 24 hours to suspend immigration to America. While it's unlikely the President will change their mind on the general policy, we believe they may consider a narrow exception for immediate family members of US Citizens, including fianc s. We've started a petition a the White House which requires 10,000 signatures to get attention and 100,000 signatures to get a formal response. Please join us by signing the petition at the following link. We should have the membership to make a solid run at getting enough signatures! https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/change-immigration-suspension-executive-order-add-exception-immediate-family-members-us-citizens-0 (note the petition was changed to include fiance visa language... please verify you signed the updated petition if you signed earlier) Quote Family is the foundation of America. Allowing an exception for the immigration of immediate family members of US Citizens, including fianc s, supports our country's values during this especially stressful point in history (Covid19). This narrow exception would make a significant impact to thousands of families while maintaining the safety of our country at the same time.
