Healthcare Marketplace Coverage

Hey guys

My husband (immigrant) and I (citizen) signed up for coverage through the Healthcare Marketplace Exchange since my job does not provide insurance.

They are asking for proof of his immigration status and I just uploaded his I-797 for his I-485 but I'm worried because of course at the top it says "this does not provide immigration status or benefits".

I know while our case is processing he is in authorized stay. Has anyone else encountered this? I have no idea if they will accept the I-797 though it does list I-797 as an acceptable document.

Any advice appreciated, not sure what we will do regarding health insurance if this doesn't work...

I was naturalized after arriving on K visa, marrying, adjusting status. I applied on three year rule as had just received ten year green cards.

we just received a letter from USCIS asking that my daughter fill out form i-90 as she needs a new permanent residence card, as she had already gained permanent residence when my I-751 aplication was approved.. They said she did not need to file this form- but she was on my form as its ask for her to file with the paren as she arrived with me on k visas. I've to fill in I-90and use the reason my card was filled with incorrect information because oh DHS error. They wll then arrange biometrics for my daughter.

As it is im applying for a passport for my daughter once i receive the death certificate for her father as she is under 16.

My husband says ignore it but not sue what to do he thinks its just an error

Spouse travelling back to UK -- but no marriage certificate yet

My husband is a British citizen who next week is travelling back to the UK on his own for Christmas to see his daughter. Under the new quarantine rules in England, he will only need to isolate for five days and then get tested, which is making this possible for him. I'm not worried about this part of the process -- I mean, they have to let him in there since he's a citizen! It's on the way back I'm worried about.

We got married on October 24th but are still waiting on our marriage certificate. Los Angeles County is notoriously slow even in good times on getting them back. I have called the county recorder's office and have been told it should be with me any day now. I ordered multiple copies for AOS, for him travelling, etc. However, the only way my husband is getting back in on his L1 without having to quarantine outside of the US for 2 weeks is if he can show he is married to me... and right now, we don't have any proof of that. In all likelihood, I will have the certificate back when he is out of the country, as his flight is next Tuesday. Assuming that's the case, I can Fedex it to him.

BUT (and this is the question): is there going to be a problem on the way out of the US? Like, are they going to ask to see the certificate on the way out, or is it only on the way back to the US that he'll need it? In an ideal world he would wait to get the certificate before leaving, but in order for all the isolating/testing to work out so he can surprise his daughter on Christmas Eve, he needs to leave next week (we baked in a couple of extra days just in case there were any testing hiccups).

Please tell me I am worrying over nothing, it hadn't even occurred to me until this afternoon that this could be an issue.

SSN

Hi, I arrived in Florida on Nov 04. Cleared Immigration at Miami. When my Spouse Visa was stamped and my Entry Clearance given, I asked if there was anything else to pay. The Officer said No. (I seemed to recall there was something else to be paid). It was a fellow VJ, DCF applicant who pointed out and confirmed there was a further fee (Immigration Fee, the Green Card fee) to be paid. I paid it on Nov 06.

Will the SSN now follow with no further input from me or do I need to fill out a form, print it and go along to the local SS office?

Grateful for any guidance.

Thanks
