Ads linking to visa services that are NOT VJ Partners

I have seen over the past couple of days ads for at least one visa service that is not on the list of approved VJ Partners. Here are a couple of the ads I've spotted just tonight:

They both point here: https://www.filipinovisa.com/philippine-visa-requirements?cfclid=598

Considering that you understandably want to drive people to services that VJ approves, and not to some unknown site, I thought you should be aware of these ads. :)

Reflections on a Visa Journey

Its been quite a journey from our initial DCF application (Mar 20) to finally receiving my Green Card (Jan 21).
Been reflecting on some of the issues which became obstacles when we arrived.
I thought it may be of use to some if these obsticles were aired, so here goes.
Banking - I had to get a bank account but at the time I didnt have any US Financial History or a permanent address. Chase were not interested and it was only after seeking advice from some who had arrived before, that I was advised to try Wells Fargo. I did approach them and managed to get a bank account in my name. An alternative maybe to open an account with a UK bank with US affiliations (Barclays?) Or maybe open a Joint Account at the bank used by your US Spouse. Not sure if a non US Citizen can do that.
Credit Score - again, with no US Financial history, my Credit Rating was zero. All UK scores dont apply. No Credit Score can cause problems getting a Tenancy and its a no-go trying to lease a car. Make sure your US Spouse is in a good place credit score wise. Do what you can to improve that score BEFORE you arrive.
Driving - after driving in UK for more than 40 years, my licence became void in Florida. As soon as you take employment, sign a Tenancy Agreement you are considered a resident of Florida. At that point I needed a Florida Driving Licence. I need to do both a Theory and Practical Test. Whilst you wait for your Visa or wait to travel, get online and do what ever practice you can for tge Theory. That way you are ready to do the Theory as soon as you arrive.
Education Qualifications - why not get your quals evaluated before you arrive. Suggestions https://www.wes.org/ or https://www.naces.org
it saves time and hassle. Also DO NOT PACK YOUR QUALS CERTS in the stuff that is being shipped. You wont see them for weeks! (ask me how I know!!! )
If I think of anything else I will update.
These were the main obsticales I recall when I arrived. I hope it gives some food for thought.

Hi,

My husband has been trying to get in contact with SQA and they finally emailed back and due to COVID-19 they cannot send a replacement copy or even a scanned copy of his diploma. Has anyone else has trouble getting their high school diploma? What did you do?

Healthcare Marketplace Coverage

Hey guys

My husband (immigrant) and I (citizen) signed up for coverage through the Healthcare Marketplace Exchange since my job does not provide insurance.

They are asking for proof of his immigration status and I just uploaded his I-797 for his I-485 but I'm worried because of course at the top it says "this does not provide immigration status or benefits".

I know while our case is processing he is in authorized stay. Has anyone else encountered this? I have no idea if they will accept the I-797 though it does list I-797 as an acceptable document.

Any advice appreciated, not sure what we will do regarding health insurance if this doesn't work...

I was naturalized after arriving on K visa, marrying, adjusting status. I applied on three year rule as had just received ten year green cards.

we just received a letter from USCIS asking that my daughter fill out form i-90 as she needs a new permanent residence card, as she had already gained permanent residence when my I-751 aplication was approved.. They said she did not need to file this form- but she was on my form as its ask for her to file with the paren as she arrived with me on k visas. I've to fill in I-90and use the reason my card was filled with incorrect information because oh DHS error. They wll then arrange biometrics for my daughter.

As it is im applying for a passport for my daughter once i receive the death certificate for her father as she is under 16.

My husband says ignore it but not sue what to do he thinks its just an error
