is it possible to transfer k-1 case from warsaw

hello! i'm russian, and me and my partner are preparing to send the application for a k-1 visa. i've been researching about the possibility of transferring my case from warsaw, because getting a schengen visa is extremely hard, i don't have the ability to get the necessary savings for it, and my partner had already been supporting me a lot financially and would have to sponsor me for that too, so i was hoping to make it easier on us by asking to transfer the case to a country that doesn't require a visa. however, i've seen very mixed info, for some people it worked out, and for some it didn't and they ended up having to apply for a visa anyway, regretting wasting their time. so my question is, is it worth it to try and ask other consulates to accept our case, at which point in the process we can do that if so, which countries might accept russian k-1 cases, OR should we just accept the visa route and try to save up enough money? let me know what you think!

also, i saw people mention a russian telegram chat, if anyone here can send me the link i would greatly appreciate it!

Health Insurance while on AOS without Approved Immigrant Visa Petition

I've seen a few comments about this here, but no concrete results.
So I wanted to start a thread and discuss our experience - and see if anyone has any feedback/suggestions/similar experience.

My spouse and I live in one of the 14 states listed in the DACA lawsuit (though we are in no way connected to DACA).

The way Healthcare.gov is treating that,it appears we are not eligible for insurance through the exchange period (the subsidy is not a factor for us - we simply want to buy and pay for health insurance).

(We are in AOS from a B2).

We have spent several hours on the phone with two different insurance companies (a BCBS regional member, and a separate more regional insurance company). In both cases they seem to be confused about the lawsuit and visa situation - they want a special enrollment period (which we do qualify for based on marriage) and proof of her visa (which as AOS from a B2... is messy). Any the other 36 states this would not be a problem - the 797 is fine documentation. But in the 14, it seems there is lots of confusion about whether we can even buy a policy at all??

Based on other comments here, I am pretty certain the same situation/problem would apply to a K1 AOS process at least before marriage?

If it comes down to it, I own a small business (solely owned and operated, no other employees) and can likely go about setting up a small business plan for myself (I currently have insurance personally instead of through the business) and adding her as spouse. But I'd rather prefer to avoid that if possible - cost and complication

Any thoughts from anyone in similar situation?

Online Receipt Notice (NOA1/797) vs Paper?

Good morning

I have been reading the forums and searching, but do not see any comment on this.
We submitted a I130 online for AOS from a B2 (the situation changed - no intention to immigrate on time of arrival for visit on B2). As it is online, we can immediately access a PDF of the receipt notice.

I have previously dealt with the USCIS for some work based visas for coworkers, so I am roughly familiar with the process. It has been a few years though, but the receipt notice is nearly identical to what I remember on 797 notices in the past.
The only difference I see (besides minor changes in formatting) is that it does not actually say 797 on the top of the page?

I have seen a lot of posts on here where people are missing their 797, but could not find anything discussing whether the online receipt notice is considered equivalent (even without the 797 header)

For example, the attached image is from the PDF receipt notice (personal information removed). There is no 797 or USCIS header above this information like there is on the old paper 797s I've worked with in past

Any ideas? Thank you

I don't feel so good, visajourney. Add in the fact that I filed in February 2021 and I feel even worse.

I'm not sure if links are allowed but this AP spreadsheet is quite useful, I will link it in a comment below - it is a "O1/EB-1/EB-2/L1/B1/J1/F1/H1B visa Administrative Processing statistics list" google sheets spreadsheet, and it is specifically of Russians. While I understand most of you won't be Russian, it may give you an insight as to how things are coming along.

Civil Documents - Russian Military ID - Which pages are needed?

For the NVC stage, which pages of the Russian military ID are needed for the military civil documents? Or is the whole 28 page ID required?

I'm assuming we also need to have it translated into English.

My husband didn't serve in the military, but he still has a military ID, which states he didn't serve, and all the other information. I thought maybe because of this, we wouldn't need to include it in the civil documents, but I'm curious to hear what others did or recommend.
