Hi everyone! I'm married to a U.S. citizen for a few months. Came here in November (k1 visa). We filled for my adjustment of status and work permit. In February I did my fingerprints. My question is am I eligible to get a $1200 stimulus payment? I have a valid SSN. I worked in US in 2018 as a j1 student for 3 months. I also did my taxes for that year with RTTAX. My husband got his payment yesterday. Can I get this payment too?

Hello! I had my green card interview in San Francisco on 16 th of March, a day before the lock down. Since then silence. They said official timing is 2-4 months, but it can be longer because of the virus. I also know that a lot of ppl get the card in a week or two after the interview if everything is fine. One month has passed, nothing happens. I can see other offices work, cases advance. Has anyone had the same situation? I start to think something is wrong with the case( I am awfully sorry if someone already created such a topic, I don t understand how to use search, doesn t really show a lot.

Hello! I`m on B2 visa. Ministry of Foreign Affairs in my country issued rules regarding repatriation flights. They will not put anyone on repatriation flight if one left country before Dec, 31 2019. They turned away hundreds yesterday in JFK from flight based on this and other rules (checking stamps in their passports). They basically flew empty plane back. I am not able to even get on waiting list because of this. Now..I`m both eligible to apply for i-539 extension and family based AOS. Whats is best/legal option?

Hello Everyone, I'm just starting the process of completing the I-129F in order to apply for my fiancee's K1 Visa and I need some advice about her work history. My fiancee is from Russia and is a student full time there and if yall know anything about Russia, it does not have a great economy. Average monthly salary is around $800 a month there and if you're a student you typically need wealthy parents to get by. Her parents aren't poor, but they're not rich. Definitely middle class in Russia. So in order to make ends meet she is a cam model, which is a pretty common thing for young women there. Anyways, she would like for me to not include this on the I-129F. She's not exactly proud of her occupation, but she does what she has to do. This is the only work she has done since being on her own. It's pretty much under the table with the way they do things in Russia. Would I be ok leaving this information off of the I-129F? Would it raise any red flags with her showing no income? Would it even be possible for them to find out she does this work?
