Hi all! *Please move to appropriate forum as I couldn't find where this would fit. My CR1 interview in Bucharest is coming up in a few days (21st of November) and I wanted to ask for a last-minute advice for either docs preparation, example questions or general tips for keeping calm and making it easier. I had a previous 1 year J-1 visa with residency requirement for which I have obtained a waiver. I think there will definitely be questions related to that. I also had a minor overstay due to the post-COVID crazy summer of 2022 where my original flight got cancelled and I ended up paying 600$ more just to make sure I don't overstay more than 4 days. I'm hoping this wouldn't be a problem but I still have my paper ticket to confirm it wasn't more than those 4 days. I also declared it when I obtained the waiver and on the DS-260. Any input would be appreciated! Love love love this community!

Hi all! I have a parking ticket that I paid the day after getting it. Where do I declare it on my N-400 online application? Under which question? I'm filling out the application right now and would like to complete it today but I'm stuck on these questions and Google doesn't help. I found stuff saying about "traffic violations" but those are "moving violations" and nothing says anything specific about parking tickets. Please help!

I am a US citizen and my wife and I have been married for almost three years. Her green card expires in October, 2023, and we are getting ready to file for her Removal of Conditions green card. As we were preparing the forms, we realized that we had not notified USCIS of our change of address since we had moved twice over a year ago. We have forwarded mail, but we forgot to notify USCIS within 10 days of moving. We first moved to an apartment on my parents property across town for a while, and then purchased and moved once again across town to a new address where we reside now. should we file a AR-11 now? And should we send anything along with the form?

I just graduated May 6th and had to wait for my boyfriend to graduate from the US Air Force Academy in order to get married (they are not allowed to during military). He graduated on June 1st and we got married on June 7th. We've been working hard on filing for my GC application before the 60 day grace period is over, but I don't know whether it's considered I still have F1 status. (DMV didn't accept my paperwork for a new DL because they just expired and were unaware of the grace period). I 485 asks about the status I had when entering the US (it was F1 student) and current status. Would it still be F1 student or out of status/visa overstay??

Question about our marriage certificate at NVC stage |

Hi guys, So today my husband (In Romania) went to the town hall to get an official copy of our marriage certificate since I have the original (in the US). I was under the impression that he will have to have his own official copy of it unless I misunderstood the instructions on the CEAC website. He went to the town hall and was told they could not issue a copy, they don't ever issue copies. They told him they would have to invalidate our current marriage certificate (filing it as lost) and issue a new one. So without consulting me, that is what he did. Now he says the marriage certificate I have (and that I filed with USCIS originally and also uploaded to my side of the CEAC documents) is invalid. Is this going to create a problem when it comes to the NVC approving our documents? My (now apparently invalid) marriage certificate has a number at the top so I'm assuming that is how they track it and the new one will have a new number. I'm not really sure what to do about this. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks
