US Immigration from Romania

Just filed for my N-400 on July 1st. Looking forward to hearing from everyone filing this month!!!

Hello everyone, our case has been at nvc fpr 25 days and yesterday it officialy tered IN TRANSIT to the us embassy in Romania. Now, my fiancee (petitioner) was forced to resign from her job and she works in hospitals so getting a new job is kind of long journey, she has been applying and getting interviews. it's just hard and unpredictable. We are afraid that the case will be ready while we are not. We are searching for a joint sponsor too in case we need to use that resource, but again, it's very hard to find someone who qualifies or wants to.

When do we need to submit the required documentation? Can we schedule the interview and medical on our own terms and availability, do they naturally force you to do it as fast as possible? Every answer would be greatly appreciated.

I just received my green card, exactly 2 months after entry! Phew!

Quick question:

My last name looks fine, however my given name is composed of two names: Flavia-Bianca. The card shows Flavia B

I'm not sure if this means I should correct it since the pamphlet accompanying it said you should report any mistake. I wonder if the characters are limited for given names.

Any experience would help! Thanks!

I got a I-797C letter telling us that the payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided. We don't know what to do , we reviewed over and over the documents ..We submitted two money orders in the amount of 1000 and 225 $ .Please some could help us .!

I was wondering if the visa journey estimate for approval of the k1 visa is accurate? My Fianc e and I got our NOA1 on December 11th, 2023, Visa journey is stating that between September 9th and 21st 2024 we should receive notification if our k1 visa has been approved, I really don't want to get my hopes up. Did anyone else's NOA2 happen around the same time visa journey expected? Thanks!
