Hi all, We tried to get my tax transcript from IRS.gov. I filled everything out but it won't send me a text confirming my phone number. I tried countless times with no luck. So I tried calling IRS like the website said to and you guessed it, there is an answering machine that said they are short staffed due to the COVID pandemic and the only way to get my tax transcript is to get it online. So we are stuck. How are we supposed to go along with the adjustment of status if we can't even get my tax transcript?? Thanks in advance.

Hi my name is Bruno, I live in California and I am currently in the process of Adjustment of status, my previous Biometrics appointment was scheduled during the period in which USCIS offices were closed. I am starting this topic, so people could share if they had any response back from the offices about the rescheduling, and if so from which state. Thank you, Stay safe

Hi all, My fiancee came to USA on February 20th. We got married on April 18th (the delay was due to the pandemic). But it was fortunately within 90 days. However, we didn't get to send out the I-485 form within 90 days. We are freaking out because apparently that means my fiancee is no longer legal. We are working on finishing up everything and mailing it out very soon. What are the repercussions of us sending it out past 90 days? Correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently the I-485 will take a year to process? If so, does that mean my fiancee won't be legal for that long? Will she be deported? How do we prevent that from happening? We would appreciate any input. Thank you!

Hey! I have a quick question. I tried to send an email/phone the US French embassy but they don't know and are not replying to my email. My question is regarding the Police Certificate. In the website (https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-required-documents/) it says: "Police Certificate: A police certificate is required for each applicant aged 16 years and over, including France or Portugal and/or any country where an applicant has lived for more than six months after the age of 16." Last year I lived in the US for a year. I was on a J1-Visa. Does this mean that I need to get a police certificate from the US? If so where can I get it? Thank you.
