Hello everyone, I've spent some significant amount of time on this forum but never really could find an answer to the questions than interests me a lot. Precisely, I'm USC, currently living in Poland for almost all of my life. I'm getting married next year with my fiancee so as we are prepared for splitting for some time to let me re-establish US domicile. I would love to get some advise from you, how can I do it to shorten the time of separation as much as possible. I know the general process for CR1 visa but still, I'd like to be sure that I get things right: 1. Is domicile required on the day of filling the I-130 for the USCIS? I know USCIS can process application for like 6 months or even more so I wonder if I could wait for USCIS to send me NOA2 so I would know that my case is being transferred to NVC in shortly, then I would quickly arrange myself to move back to US(I work for Samsung here in Poland and already talk with them about transfer to US facility so getting US employment would be rather quick process for me fortunatelly) so I would be employed. I would also immediately rent an apartment to increase my bond with US. The general question is if I can send AOS package for example 3 months after I receive NOA1 from NVC or if there is some limited, short period of time when I have to send the package to them to be processed? 2. I was thinking about making a trip to US in prior to wedding for a short period of time, like 2 weeks to make get few things done like getting the driving license, opening bank account etc. Are there some things that would help me prove my domicile I could do during a short visit to US before sending I-130? Or can I wait with all those things for my trip after NOA2 since they are easy to establish and it doesn't make sense to have them issued(driving license, bank account with money transfers) few months earlier? 3. I'm 25, I've never filled my US taxes(except for one year when I worked in US for few months) since I was unaware that it is my duty when I work abroad. Since I didn't receive any notification from IRS, can I get into this so called Streamlined Procedure to clarify my taxes situation before applying next year for CR1? I believe tax transcripts are essential during NVC stage? I will be very glad for any answers that could clarify my vision for the visa process, thank you

Hi all, I'm new here so I'm sorry if these questions have already been asked. 1. Do train and bus tickets need to be translated to English? 2. What should translations look like? Do they need to be a separate typed up page or can they be hand written on the document printed out? Does anyone have an example picture they can send me? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi everyone!! I feel like my case is quite unique and I wanted to ask you how it actually looks. During the hard time right now with the whole Covid-19 situation I ve been wondering if me and my fianc put enough proof of our meeting during the last 2 years in our I-129f packet. So the story started when I was an Au Pair in the US and I lived in CA. When I went on my trip to Texas (Sep 2018) I met a great man the night I went with one of my friends to one of the dancings. Well, since then we ve been talking a lot and really liked each other ( we were spending hours talking or texting) but we didn t meet anymore in the US ( I couldn t ask for more days off and he couldn t travel to CA because of work schedule) so we decided to meet in Europe (I m from Poland). I returned to Poland in Feb 2019. We took a trip to Belgium in April 2019 and then to London (Sep 2019). Sent our petition in December, Our NOA1 is Dec 20. As a proof of meeting we put my J1 visa scan and stamp, passport, my DS2019, his passport stamps from Belgium and my boarding passes ( I m from European Union so I use only my ID to travel around and obviously I m not getting stamps on EU territory)we put also boarding passes of me and him from London and the hotel reservation, my receipts from London and pictures we took together in Belgium ad London (4 or 5 picks. The picture from London is pretty good cause we took it at the subway station, this typical London one so it s visible that s London. The thing I m trying to ask if this is enough? I see that lots of you mentioned that stamps and photos are the best proof but he didn t get the stamp in London and I didn t get stamps anywhere in EU and I m overthinking that maybe they are gonna think that in the US I lived in CA and he is from TX so that might be weird. Hope some of you ll advise something. My fianc was here with me in Poland (Jan- April). He stayed 3 months and we officially got engaged Here and he met my entire family. I guess I m just worried since we didn t get our NOA2 yet. In case of RFE, what should we do? I feel like I literally put everything in the petition

Hi guys, I have a quick question today. I moved to the States in Feb 2019 and got married to my US husband in April 2019. I became a resident alien in Feb 2020. With that being said, I had been a nonresident alien throughout the entire 2019, before I have been granted a green card. How does that affect my taxes for 2019? Is there a difference between a resident and non-resident person when filling taxes? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if my parents would be eligible for a stimulus checks. They are considered a resident aliens for tax purposes (under presence test). They filled their 2018 and 2019 using ITIN number. On April 2020 they received their Green Cards and Social Security numbers and I sent letter to IRS to combine ITIN and SSN records so they can use their Social Security number when filling tax returns. Since they received SSN and became green card holders just now, and filled using ITIN. Will they be eligible for stimulus check? Thanks!
