US Immigration from Philippines

So I emailed NVC and they said they forwarded my visa petition to the US Embassy or Consulate on Aug. 20 2019. Isn't the NVC supposed to send me a letter with a MNL number?? Just wondering.

I am trying to calm my wife down. I took her to her biometric appointment today and they were questioning her why she changed her name the way she did. She tried to explain to them it is the Philippine tradition. They finally caved and said when it comes time to the interview, let the officer sort it out. I told her to just continue with the way she wants it and not what that person said. Here is an example, lets say her name was Jane Vi Amber Smith. Vi is part of her first name and Amber would be the middle. Now her new name is Jane Vi Smith White. Anybody else have problems?

I am finishing compilation of my 129F. My beneficiary has a 2 year old son, and I have the birth certificate original. I have included the fact and and age in the 129F, however I do not know if I need to include his birth certificate in the 129F packet or not. The plan is to bring him along, and I have gotten some conflicting info on whether or not a separate application is required at this time. The plan was for him to come over after she got settled, within a year. I could really use some advice and thoughts please. Thanks. This is literally the last thing I need to know to move forward with the application.

Hi Everyone,

Asking for a friend.. Their case currently waiting for a case number at nvc. unfortunately, her husband died. She is really depressed right now.

Now what will happen to her case?. can she still proceed for it? she said there is what so called as widow visa wherein your I-130 will be automatically converted to I-1360.

Not sure how true it is.

My wife is filing her N-400 and it asks to list children. Her two children are adults, married and still living in the Philippines and my daughter is married a US citizen living in the US. Do we have to list them anyway and do we need their birth certificates?
