221(g) white slip refusal (REQUESTED PASSPORT AND ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS)

Hi guys! I hope someone can help me with our problem. :( The US Consulate gave us a 221(g) white slip after our interview. He checked the last box on the white slip, stating that we need to send additional documents that has a check mark on the slip. It also states that we need to send our passports together with the requested documents. Our case was under Administrative Processing.

We already sent the documents together with our passports and it was already delivered at the US Embassy last October 17. When I checked our visa status online, our case was updated from October 10 (day of interview) to October 18. Still under Administrative Processing.

Our case was approved for expedite processing since I m turning 21 this November 11. The US Embassy staff said that I should arrive in the US before my birthday, but right now, I m not really sure if I m going to make it because I ve read so many cases that it usually takes months before it gets issued..

Anyone can enlighten me with this case? Should I keep worrying? Is there still a chance that our visa will be issued before my birthday? :(

I m so worried right now..

Does anyone have any information on judicial oath ceremonies held in Raleigh, NC?

My wife passed her citizenship interview and, because she requested a name change, is now waiting for a judicial oath ceremony to be scheduled.

We're curious as to where these are held and at what intervals. I can't find a schedule online, so we have no idea how long she might have to wait.

Household Members AOS Incomplete but Interview to be Scheduled?

Hi All,

I received an update for my case today. Submitted on September 3rd and got two emails from NVC (one to say the case is updated and a second to wait for an email for my interview date).

I logged into CEAC and saw the following status for the Documents submitted:

1. Mom (Principal Sponsor, submitted I-864 and Tax Return) - Accepted

2. Brother 1 (Household Member, submitted I-864A, Tax Return and Proof of Domicile) - Incomplete

3. Brother 2 (Household Member, submitted I-864A, Tax Return and Proof of Domicile) - Incomplete

4. Me (Applicant, Submitted all required Civil Documents) - Accepted

Note: I don't remember if Birth Certificates were required for both Household Members. But if it was, it would have been uploaded as well because I made sure all required documents were submitted correctly.

We also got a message in CEAC that simply said Documentarily Qualified.

Since CEAC is still under maintenance, if I click on Incomplete, I only get the warning that uploading documents is not possible. So we're not sure which documents are incomplete (if there are any, because why would it say incomplete if I also got a message for Documentarily Qualified?).

Does anyone know what document could possibly be incomplete for Household Members? I told my mom to call NVC as soon as possible so she could include whatever document it is in the AOS packet she's mailing me before the interview.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,

I have a pending I-485 and submitted my application last July 2019 and I'm still waiting for it. I was able to expedite my ead due to a pending job offer. Now, my question is, am I allowed to change employer as long as I have a new job offer? If so, how do I do it? Do I need to call uscis? Thank you!
