Do you have to sign for green card delivery? My wife's is due to arrive today according to USPS Informed Delivery. It was sent Priority Mail with tracking. Our mail person is notorious for not knocking and just leaving the slip. Then we have to go to the post office and pick it up.

Hi! I was wondering if anybody here has been through the same thing. We are currently filing for CR1. We already have an interview date so we're just compiling our documents to bring to the interview. Today we received an email from IV Manila (Philippines) with a checklist of things to bring. Included in that checklist are additional documents we have to upload to ceac. So it turns out two boxes are ticked in red. One is for Cenomar (advisory on marriage) and the other is for IRS tax transcript. Both of these files have been uploaded and are marked accepted on CEAC. What does it mean? Do I have to re upload the same documents that have been accepted at NVC? Thank you in advance. Any insight from people who have experienced the same thing is much welcome.

My fiance had her medical exam and they found a small white spot in her lung, they need to do sputum test now for 3 day and results in 8 weeks. Even if results come back ok 8 weeks will put us over our approval expiration date in January, is there a way to get an extension from NVC due to the circumstances? We dont want to have to start the process all over again. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello Guys, I am CR1 beneficiary currently based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Our lawyer indicated Riyadh, Saudi in I-130a but when I received the case number, its assign in Manila. I want to continue the process here in Saudi because I am currently working here. Can it still be changed from Manila to Saudi? I want to do the process here since im working here at the moment. Thank you.
