This is the saddest thing happen in my life. I just received a call from my sister in law in the states that my husband passes away last night. I supposed to be happy because we got our case number already few days ago.

Who has the same experience as mine? I feel incomplete losing your loves ones and you are not on their side. It is really devastating. I see him last Jun2019 and suddenly this happens due to colon cancer. I know my CR1 will be converted to widow visa. Aside from informing NVC about the death of my husband, what are the documents that I need to upload in nvc?

Btw, I am currently working and living here in Jeddah, KSA. In my previous post, I have problem coz they assign my case to my home country which is Philippines.

I have mixed information on what I have read on here. I am asking for a family. He is American only 19, just started working but income is not enough to sponsor his fiancee.

Can he use co sponsor for K1 for Manila Embassy? I have read lots being success using co-sponsor for k1 Manila but some said that it is not accepted.

Is it case by case basis or is it now been accepted in Manila Embassy to Cosponsor a K1?

I have asked about this before. A friend at work who is using the same lawyer I'm using told me that for the k1 visa petition her birth certificate is also required with the initial paperwork. But I have read where the fiancee birth certificate is not required for the initial paperwork but my friend told me that the lawyer said it is. I am asking anyone who has already been thought the first stage of the k1 visa process if they can tell me whether or not they submitted the beneficiary birth certificate with the initial paperwork or if they didn't need it until the consulate interview. I realize you can submit both birth certificates but I was under the impression that only the US citizen was needed for now. I don't know if my lawyer will even file without both certificates. She is currently working on having hers corrected. The uscis website doesn't mention the alien birth certificate for the initial paperwork. I hope someone can tell me what the truth is about this issue.

What is the 1 year visa for me called?

Also do I still fill out that piece of paper upon arrival?

I have these questions because today the Consulate in Houston told my wife that I just stand in the same line as her which I m assuming is the citizen line which seems odd to me.

I am a green card holder with a pending petition for my unmarried daughter over 21. Petition was filed with priority date of June 2012. Now I am planning to apply for my citizenship ( been here for 9yrs+). Would it affect my daughter's case priority wise from F2AB to F1 if I become a citizen? Would it expedite the processing time since it will be under F1? Or should I stay as LPR and keep the F2B? Thank you.
