US Immigration from Philippines

I'm waiting for my interview letter for my F2B visa. I have not resigned from my current job and don't plan to until I have my immigrant visa issues (hopefully). I am contracted to a one month notice period at my workplace but I plan on already applying for jobs immediately. Has anyone have experience on this before?

I'm curious about a few things...

1. At what point do you disclose to the potential employer that you are immigrating? Do you mention it in your cover letter?

2. Do you mention that you are still in your home country and would be in the US at X date? I work in IT so most of the interviews are done via Skype anyway and I can easily take interviews during a convenient time for them. My US address will be my mom's address and I can use Google Voice to get a US number.

And a more in general question, how do you handle references that are on the other side of the world? Are employers in the US receptive to references from outside the US? I have worked with US based clients but only minimally so I don't know if they'd be comfortable in giving me a reference.

My interview went smoothly today! The consul just asked me the folllowing

1. What's your petitioner's full name?
2. What does he do?
3. Was he born in US?
4. Does he have children? (The consul asked me the same thing)

5. Did he got married before?
6. How did you meet your fiance?

After few minutes of waiting, he told me that my visa got approved as he already have everything!
I think what he meant with "everything" is we already submitted all our proof of relationship when we filed our Petition.

I'm currently filling out the form I-130 to petition my daughter. I am a US citizen.

One question that I encountered is "Provide the address in the US where the beneficiary intends to live".

Me and my husband currently resides in my sister-in-law's house and plan to move out soon. As to where and when, there is no specific date yet since my husband is currently an active military member so we might be stationed somewhere or if we buy a house before my daughter arrives here.

Anyway, with that being said, is it safe to provide my sister-in-law's address for the application?

Has anyone else had the same issue? How did you resolve it? What was/could the/be the impact in the application?

Hi everyone.,any advice for those green card holder who petition thier child(under 21.years of age) here in US.I am a GC holder(just recv few days) and my husband is a US citizen.Is it better if my husband will be the one to petition my 8 years old son as a Step child or me as a mother?..As ive read its more faster if a US citzen will be the one to petition.,if so..do my husband must be present on the day of my son's interview?..or it will be okay if its just me?as one of the requirements..what are the strong evidence of relationships that i must provide since my hubby and son still ddnt meet in person only on videochat?
