US Immigration from Philippines

I received an appointment for biometric next week which is kinda a challenge (work sched challenge) since its the thanksgiving week. Would anyone know if doing it at an earlier schedule is still allowed? My field office is Milwaukee WI.

We were trying to help my mom on her affidavit of support. My mom live with us and her income is not enough to support my sister. Now, my husband and I file tax together. We have two kids plus my mom, that makes us 5. Our household income adding my sister that need to show is almost $49k. But what form me and my husband should need to fill up to help my mom? Because on the form i864 I was part of the household member as her (daughter) living in the same physical address and what about my husband who is part of the household also? Does he need to fill up the form i864A or the form i864 as the joint sponsor? Im confused. Thank you.

I am married to a USC and I concurrently filed I130, I485, I131, and I765 on October 9th and I have yet to recieve my biometrics appointment. Should i be worried?

My son and I are having our birthdays in January and would love to invite my sister to come over from the Philippines. I know it is so hard to apply for a US visa especially with the young age because they think people will just probably stay in the US and not leave. My sister is in her mid 20's and I have been wanting to have her visit us. She have saved a pretty decent amount and have savings in the bank and she have a property she have been paying for back home. She also have been back and forth to Japan for work for 5 years. She have done so much for the family financially that we think she deserves to come here for a treat and see us. Anybody had a recent experience with their family applying for tourist visa? I know there is an instruction and I read it but are there anything else my sister can bring to help w her interview?
