Loans not in our names

Hello, VJ-ers. I was hoping to find some answers here as I m about to prepare the materials for our ROC application.

If the mortgage loan was taken before I arrived and my husband has not added my name because we don t want to refinance, should we still include mortgage bills as evidence of cohabitation and/or shared finances? (The payments for mortgage are coming from our joint checking.)

Also, an auto loan was taken early this year, but we didn t apply jointly due to my limited credit history. Should we also include this since the bills are addressed to our residence and payments are coming from our joint checking?

If so, should we also include letters to explain why these loans are not joint?

Thank you.

Our I-130's (wife and stepdaughter) were forwarded to Nebraska, it says time line is like 362 days!

Is there anyway to move it to Texas or get it to move faster?

How do I get my Ph Wife to visit Costa Rica while we wait for green card?

Hi all. I'm in the US and my wife is in Cavite. We've applied for her green card and are just waiting. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to meet at different places around the world.

We're trying to figure out how to get her to Costa Rica, but all the flights go through the US, suggesting that she needs some kind of transit visa. I have no idea what that is or how to get one.

Are there alternate routes to get to Costa Rica that wouldn't require futzing with US immigration services?

Ok friends, I would love to hear your experiences on interview approval to visa in hand timelines.

I am hoping to go to the Philippines and accompany my fiance to her US Embassy interview in Manila. I would also love to stay with her until she gets the visa in hand to accompany her on the trip to the USA. The problem is the big unknown of how long this time window would or could be.

Obviously there is best case and worst case scenario here. I'm just looking for insights on the best case or average case. I am hoping we could do all of this in 2 weeks. Much more than that and I can't really stay there for that long. Then I have to pick to be there for the interview, her trip, or neither.

She lives in Cebu City. How does she get her passport back with the visa? My understanding is they deliver it to some shipping pickup point or something like that in Cebu City?

Anyone have any idea how long this process takes? Any details or your experience on this would be really helpful.

FYIL She is going to do her CFO in advance so she just has to run back by for the final document for it.

Hi guys.. due to my procrastination ( yep, my bad ), I applied for an SSN last week ( I-94 expires Dec 8 ) and of course I got their manual verification letter .. my questions are:

1. on my AED form page 2 Part 2 question 14 ( do you want SSA to issue you a Social Security card? ) I am leaning towards a No since I already applied for one, although I know it will be rejected due to a nearly expired I-94.

2. If I do choose No, should I include the manual verification letter that SSA gave me? Would it have any impact at all?

3. if I choose Yes, would it mess up my initial application ?

appreciate your thoughts guys thanks.. and yeah, I ve already beaten myself up for not applying SSN at least a month before I-94 expiration
