US Immigration from Philippines

Hi everyone,

this was probably ask before but I cant find an answer for my specific question.

So a week ago my fiancee receive her passport and visa packet, there was a big tear so we sent it back to us embassy manila. Fast forward, she received it back just today. the envelope was sealed back but this time there s a second sealed plastic with papers in it but the front and back cover is a blank white page. We also noticed that the yellow envelope got thinner, thinking they separated them because it was too thick? Maybe. Is this normal or happened to anybody here before?

My fianc had her interview yesterday. It seems there may have been a communication issue because the interviewer asked her at one point if she could understand him. He sent her to a Filipino agent who asked all the questions again. The agent told her she would need to go back to the original interviewer. After so time waiting, the Filipino agent told her they would not be able to see her again And she was able to leave but if they needed any more information or documentation they would contact her. She left really sad and confused especially since her friend was also interviewed yesterday and she was approved. I ve called in myself to get an update but they can only tell me our petition in in administrative processing and they will contact us if anything else is needed. I m just wondering, is this normal? Is there something else we should do? Should I worry about this or relax since the kept her passport? Please help if anyone has had this experience.

We have submitted all our documents and paid our fees last Oct 1, US time and date. We are under F3-Philippines.

Priority Date: March 1998

Welcome Letter: August 2019

Scan/Submitted date: Oct 1 2019

DQ: No update yet as of December 06, 2019

IL: No update yet as we haven't been DQ'd yet

AS of NOV 19, NVC has been reviewing cases submitted to them by OCT 1. And yes, truthfully, NVC reviewed our case by Nov 19 wherein we received an email from NVC saying that they've updated our application. As we've checked into our CEAC account, my name was removed from the CEAC account. Unfortunately, I am the aged out child and I am just looking out for my family who's still qualified under F3. Until now, there is no update yet. We haven't been DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED yet and of course no INTERVIEW LETTER yet. We have been dreading this process and hoping my whole family gets to US soon.

I've been hearing about how hard it is to get a SSA to issue a SSN to a K1 holder. We're looking for a good SSA (knows what to do) in the Northern KY/Southern OH area. Thanks!

If you are requested to write personal letters relating to an RFE item, does everything in the personal letter have to be verified with supporting documents? For example, if you say "my friends say I am a terrific guy", do you have to supply proof of that? If not, is there a preferred declaration that should be made on it like, "I certify that the personal letter is true to the best of my knowledge?" Or is a personal letter just that, an informal letter where truth is implied? Thank you so much!
