I am a Registerd Nurse here in the Philippines, and in need of help with these to questions.

Are you a graduate of a foreign medical school seeking to perform medical services in the United States but have not yet passed the National Board of Medical Examiners examination or its equivalent?

I am a graduate with Masters, and I do hope to work as a RN in the US. But I feel this question has a different meaning. Even though I am a graduate I was not seeking to perform medical servies, but to get married to my Fiance

Are you a health care worker seeking to perform such work in the United States but have not yet received certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools or from an equivalent approved independent credentialing organization?

I feel like this question has a different meaning as well. I am a nurse and i do want to work in the US but I was not seeking for work here when my Fiance proposed to me.

and a simple question even though it is asking for passwork numbers, do I include the 2 letter before the nunber since it is included in the line?

Please advise

Hello to all. We just received a documentarily qualified email today from NVC. Currently waiting for interview schedule. We are expecting a February 2020 interview date. What documents are needed during her interview? (IR2 visa, stepchild relationship). My daughter is 17y/o.
From what I have read it looks like she needs the following documents;

1. PassporT (do we need photocopies?)

2. PSA birth certificate (Beneficiary and Mother)

3. Marriage certificate of mother and stepdad. We did ROM our marriage to Philippine. do we also need to bring PSA marriage cert. or US marriage cert is enough?
4. NBI clearance, expiration date is July 8, 2020. Do we need to get an updated one?

5. 2x2 pictures

6. Tax transcripts from year 2017-2019?

7. W2s 2017-2019

8. Affidavit of Support, can we just scan with wet signature and have her printed it out?

9. Petitioners proof of domicile. US passport is ok?

10. My husband is a naturalized US citizen do we need to bring his PSA birth cert. and CENOMAR?
and lastly;

Does the petitioner have to be present during the interview? My husband and my daughter have not met in person and just recently started talking on fb chat or messenger. Besides from our marriage certificate what other proof of relationship do we need to bring?
and do you guys think it s a good idea to have her father accompany her to her interview?
Thank you

Transferring PHP to US bank accounts

My Filipino fiance is currently still in PI. We've just started the K-1 process.

Her brother is about to gift a fairly large sum of money to her in pesos. She will likely be transferring most of the money to the US.

Need advice from someone who has been through this before about the best way to avoid scrutiny (from either government) and to get the best exchange rate and lowest fees.

For example, what kind of account should she open? Would it be best to open an account in USD?

What government pitfalls should we watch out for? (taxes, restrictions, etc.)

Do we need to transfer the funds in steps? How much each time?

Is there a bank that is more suited to these types of transactions?

Thanks for any advice or referrals.

Hello Everyone,

I just lost my husband while our case still at NVC. I send an email to ncv tru AskNVC form and I informed them about the death of my husband and attached the death certificate last Dec15,2019.

Does one email is enough? I mean no need to call them to follow up?.

Thank you.

Hello, need help with preparing my AOS. I am currently on K1 fiance visa and just got married last month (Nov2019). My I-94 is due until Jan14 2020. My concern is, is it okay to file my AOS late? like 2 weeks to a month after my I-94 expires? I am caught up with completing my documents considering of the holidays and will probably complete all my requirements sometime Febuary 2020. Will appreciate all your inputs. Thank you.
