US Immigration from Philippines

Hello all my helpful friends. I have a question and I can't seem to find the answer.

I have a friend who is here on a working visa. Her partner is a green card holder and she wishes to change her visa status to (I think) a CR1. Can this be done? Can a working visa be changed to the permanent visa some way? She would like to do it on her own if she can and I would help her with it (along with everyone on here too of course). She still has time on her working visa now but wishes to start the process soon.

Can anyone point the way for her and me? Maybe give us some info regarding forms or paperwork or whatever needs to be done?

I truly appreciate the responses to this question and hope we get an answer soon. They're a wonderful couple and they'd like to stay together. At this point, marriage is not considered however. How can she do this Or can it be done?

Me and my husband were always file joint on our Taxes. My question is

on I864-A I understand he is required to fill.out this form

On part 4 2a. To 2c

Total income is the Gross income our joint irs transcript? Or his own Gross on his W2?

Yesterday we picked up our visa from 2go in Davao! Yay!

It came in a sealed package, don't open and for immigration. But her passport is in there.

Is there something we're missing?

We took it to cfo in Davao because they needed to put the sticker, ect on the passport. They made a small cut and took out the passport, we recorded it of them doing it just to be safe.

Is there any issues? When she lands in America?

I m a USC my parents are here in the US under B1 status. My question is can i adjust their status? If so, what form should I use? Thanks

Special Notice!!

In the embassy documents checklist (step 5) it lists the "CENOMAR (if applicable)" for those that are married the embassy will want the CEMAR (Advisory of Marriage, form 5) ... not having the CEMAR for the interview will cause delays and a 221g document request letter.

Hank, I am doing I-130. Does this mean that I need to have my wife get and bring a CEMAR to the interview?
