US Immigration from Philippines

Hi! I already signed and submitted my DS 160 last December 23, 2019 and I m about to have my interview tomorrow January 21, 2020.

However, I only noticed now that I made a mistake on my Travel Information. I am applying for a K1 Fianc Visa and I have an existing B1/B2 Visa. I visited my fianc last year and on the DS-160 Travel Information part, instead of inputting my arrival date in the US on July 10th and staying for 10 days, I wrongly inputted July 11th and stayed for 9 days.

Is this something I can tell the CO and they can correct it on the spot during my interview or should I make a new DS-160?

Hi! For those doing their K1 (Fianc Visa) interview at the US Embassy in Manila, what were the documents asked from the applicant with an existing US B1/B2 Tourist Visa?

I am expecting a job offer from a company. I have been told by the hiring manager that I am fully qualified for the job. However, HR is not accepting my EAD and is asking for a green card. Their reason is they need to prove to the government that no American can do the job that s why they are hiring me for it. Obviously I have not found the cure for cancer and am no rocket scientist. My GC is in progress. My interview is on Feb 6.

Is this fair? I have explained that I have work authorization and do not require a sponsorship and that my greencard is coming soon. They wouldn t budge on their policy.

My Fiance had her appointment on 06 Dec 2019. They told her 2-3 weeks to wait for passport with Visa after acceptance. CEAC shows Administrative Processing. I expected a longer wait due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

On 06 Jan 2020, the status changed "Case Last Updated" with that date.

She took the CFO class with others who had interview on 23 Dec and already had Visa in hand.

Has anyone else had this experience?
