US Immigration from Philippines

I m from the Philippines, and my husband is sending me a laptop but he said when I come to the US, I won t be able to bring it with me. Is this true?

I received a letter from USCIS ( yellow sheets) stating that it s a Request for Initial evidence. Basically they needed the compete Federal ITR of my sponsor submitted to the IRS, and a Tax Return Transcript. However when I filed my AOS, I have sent them the following only from the most recent year.

1. W2

2. Income tax return

3. IRS ( one summary paper)

I don t know, if I made some mistake on the documents I have provided.

Can you pls share, what you guys attached with your I 864?

Just got notice that our case status was "Ready".

I am still waiting on Police Clearance from Hong Kong, which should have be received in HK this week (01-27-2020)

I do not want to schedule the interview until the Embassy has this. How will I know when the Embassy has received the clearance.

Hello everyone!! After 32 days I got a notice from USCIS saying my AOS packet wasn t properly filed because I forgot to sign my I-131 Application for Travel Document and did not include the fee.. We wrote a check of 1,225 for the filing fee and biometrics.. I guess my question is... is the filing fee for travel document new? I did not read any fee about this form before... thanks

Do given names include middle name which is her mother's maiden name. I do not see any place to include that name which is commonly uses as the full name. Thanks,
