US Immigration from Philippines

Hello all

Ok, so my Filipina wife is in the last states of her spousal visa debacle and hopefully will arrive this summer.

We have never filed jointly. Always MFS. No kids.

I live in New Mexico (a community prop state) and last year filed with no issues.

This year HR Block is shoving some form 8958 community property form to me. It is for us both etc etc.

I read the IRS site and it gives some exceptions for NRA, then contradicts them.

So, in general if she is treated as a NRA for tax purposes, am I compelled to file an 8958?

who among you here waiting response from NVC? I send the death certification of my husband tru Public Inquiry form last December 15, 2019 and still no response.

I am just worried for a little bit because in their website- they are already responding emails received from December 16, 2019 which is one day passed the day I emailed.

I am currently CR1-but after receiving case number and invoice ID-my husband passed away. I am waiting for response from NVC to convert my approved I-130 to I-360.

I am in the process of filling out an I-130 to petition for my spouse, but I have a bit of an issue and not sure where to find the information. I had a previous marriage where I did file a K1 visa back in 1999, but I don't have any of the information besides her name, marriage and divorce dates back in 2005. Is there a way I can get this information from the USCIS? I tried searching and could not find the answer, I just don't want to get stuck with an RFE because I don't have the exact dates or A# for my ex wife. There is a small chance it's on my old computer, which I am currently trying to recover it hasn't been used in quite awhile.
