Good day. Is anyone here experience a petition approval (noa2) but the petitioner was not notified that it was approved until the fiance received the letter from the embassy?

So I just want to know what processes do I need to be in after arrival in the US as a family based visa holder?

Do I need to apply for GC, employment authorization, are there restrictions? Please comment down below about what I should expect. Thank you

We have a K1 Petition and just submitted our DS-160. We are now at the stage where we can schedule our interview at the Manila Embassy.

However, I just realized that my fiancee, the beneficiary's, passport will expire on October 20, 2020. Due to that only being 8 months away, we have decided to get the passport renewed prior to going to an interview. Can anyone provide information as to how long it takes for a passport to be renewed?

I (the petitioner) misplaced my original birth certificate and am trying to find it. I do have a copy of the birth certificate. Would a copy be enough for the adjustment of status interview?

We have submitted the DS-160 for my fiancee. Our original plan was for her child to follow. No she wants to bring her. I can no longer edit the DS 160 that was submitted. There is a part asking who she will be traveling with which I left blank.

Is it ok to leave as is, or do I need to create a new DS-160 for my fiancee? Is the a way to cancel the one already submitted?
