I ve read posts and guides. There is different info out there. Do we really wait for fianc to receive letter from embassy or may we proceed. We already know the MNL#.

Has anyone recently moved through this phase?

Some posts say once we know the MNL# we can visit the site and begin setting up the interview process.

Hello. I just purchased an airline ticket yesterday using my married name. It didn't occur to me at the time that my passport still has my maiden name. Is this going to be a problem when traveling?

I checked my status online early this morning and I was so shocked to received an unexpected update, it says that they are ready to schedule my interview for I-485 and they will be sending me the notice. How long usually, would be the preparation in days until the interview? And is it possible that I will have my interview without the approved I-130?

We had the adjustment of status interview today and the immigration officer said it our case was approvable and it looked like we had everything but it would take two weeks because of a security check that is standard. Is this normal or should we be concerned?
