Biometrics needed for AP? |

So I'm done with my I-485 biometrics on 3/16. I received a letter from USCIS yesterday that I need to go to the same ASC on 4/2 to complete biometrics for my AP application. I've been checking my case status online and it shows biometrics done for AOS and EAD. Can't they just use my fingerprints and photos taken from AOS and apply it to AP? I'm also reading from fellow VJ friends that they are receiving the same letter too. Should I ignore this letter or call USCIS and confirm? According to their website all in person appointments may resume on 4/1. I doubt it'll happen since Kansas City, Missouri has now 13 confirmed covid-19 cases and the Mayor enforced a stay at home order effective Tuesday, 3/24 through 4/24.

These forums were so helpful to me years ago when I married my wife. Once again, I am seeking help. I have a group of friends who are in the United States on J1 visas. They are two and a half months in their one year internship. Due to the coronavirus, a lot of jobs in the hospitality industry has been shut down. As of now, they have no job and have been told their internship will be cut short. What should be their next, most logical step? Most do not have the money for plane tickets home and some are from countries where travel is currently banned. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi! I really need some help and insight here. I entered US in a K1 visa. I married my Fiance within 90 days and filed my I-485 3 weeks before the end of my 90-day period (which is March 16). However, I received a Rejection Notice (dated March 17) because the APPLICATION WAS FILED ON AN OUTDATED VERSION OF THE FORM. USCIS just wants me to resubmit the application on the current version. And that's fine with me and my now-husband. My only concern is that my 90 days is over. Am I out of status already? Am I now illegally overstaying in the US? Should I resubmit even if 90 days is past due? Thank you to anyone who would share their advice. Little things help. God bless!
