Hi there , We recently received a rejection letter due to that they require me to submit i-944 form. . i have submitted a few original documents (ex. authenticated marriage certificate) but they have printed on the bottom of the paper. can we resubmit them? or do we have to reprint everything like the tax transcripts (that's a lot)? :(

Thanks :)

Ah your wife did file AOS already, you posted earlier that you hadn't filed yet .. then ignore the "include" part of my previous posting

Complete the process for the K2 providing the same completed forms along with required evidence (documents) as was done for your wife.

864 info still applies

In filing for K1 AOS for the form I-864 (K2 is follow to join after 6 months), part 3 nos. 1 and 3, can I check them both and include the name of my dependent?

Also can use the K1 I-864 copy to send to USCIS for when the time my daughter applies for AOS which I included her as dependent of principal immigrant?

Thanks.

Should I get a joint sponsor?

Hello,

Applied for K-1 visa, fiance arrived and we are now married. Currently working on his AOS. I (his petitioner/sponsor) made over $45k last year as an on call respiratory therapist. The year before that I did not make above the Federal Poverty Guideline since I only started working towards the end of 2018 since I was in school for respiratory therapy from 2016-2018. My question is: Do I need a joint sponsor for my husband's AOS or it's fine that I'm the only sponsor? I only have 2019 tax return and I can't get tax transcript (won't recognize my phone even though the account is under my name), is it okay to send 2019 tax return, 2019 W-2, and 3-6 months of pay statement? Thank you all

APRIL 2020 I-129F (K-1) Filers

For those who have just filed your I-129f application with USCIS, this thread has been created for your needs and for you to be with others experiencing different aspects of this journey. This is a place to ask questions and to share experiences. All are here to learn together. Good luck because this is a long process currently running 5-6 months from filing date for your NOA2 approval.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/K1_Process_V11.pdf

Also, since your application will go through several background checks, this is a primer on what goes on with the background process.

I know it sucks, but the best way to get through this is to lower your expectations and try not to compare your timeline to anyone else's. Don't forget that the people here on Visa Journey represent a tiny percentage of all the petitions the CSC has to work through! When someone gets to your file, you'll hear from them. Stay busy, talk a lot with your fianc about non-visa stuff, don't forget to hang out with your friends, take up a new hobby, go to a sporting event, and your time will come! Good luck

An explanation of why is it taking so long.
