US Immigration from Philippines

Hi guys,

I'm the US Citizen spouse and currently processing my wife's IR-1 visa.

Because of the virus I'm currently out of work and seeking food assistance. Would applying for government food assistance be a problem in getting my wife's visa? I don't mean the income part, I will get a sponsor but just wondering if getting assistance will be held against me on the immigration.

Hi everybody, we just received the hard copy of our NOA 1 and it only shows my name (Benificiary).

I included my K2 child in the I-129f form but her name is not in the NOA1.

Is this normal? Or do i have to call USCIS to include my K2 in the NOA1?

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is practicing "Social Distancing" and staying safe from the COVID-19 lol. Im trying to get more information on what we will need to cross the border into canada when we PCS to Alaska. We will be driving. My wife is a permanent resident with a philippine passport. Im sure for myself, i can travel with orders and ID card, and i plan on getting Official Passports for all the children. I dont report until early 2021 so i have plenty of time to get everything in order once i know exactly what i need to get done. Im already tracking the command sponsorship process and already on the housing list. Ill appreciate any travel tips regarding driving through canada and alaska as well. Thanks everyone.
