This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. Contained in the PDF below are many tips, tricks, and hacks to help you along the way. Plese download a copy as it will answer most questions that most at this point in their journey are asking. The PDF does update from time to time with new findings, so be sure you have the latest information. Check the dates in the lower left-hand corner if you are using the latest copy. Again, these are items that everyone asks questions, so I thought I'd post a PDF of them here for you to refer to when it's necessary. If you are new to this thread, please read as these are the most asked questions multiple times. Good luck. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing

For those who have just filed your I-129f application with USCIS, this thread has been created for your needs and for you to be with others experiencing various aspects of this journey. This is a place to ask questions and to share experiences. All of you are here to learn together. Good luck because this is a lengthy process currently running 5-6 months from filing date for your NOA2 approval. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/K1_Process_V11.pdf Also, since your application will go through several background checks, this is a primer on what goes on with the background process. I know it sucks, but the best way to get through this is to lower your expectations and try not to compare your timeline to anyone else's. Don't forget that the people here on Visa Journey represent a tiny percentage of all the petitions the CSC must work through! When someone gets to your file, you'll hear from them. Stay busy, talk a lot with your fianc about non-visa stuff, don't forget to hang out with your friends, take up a new hobby, go to a sporting event, and your time will come! Good luck An explanation of why it is taking so long. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/681798-august-2018-i-129f-filers/?do=findComment&comment=9558550

Good evening! We are finishing up out AOS packet and one of the questions on the 1-944 is asking for a credit score. Of course she does not have one and we are wondering where we can get a credit report indicating this information ? . What sights are free and safe to use. By the way, these 1-944's are lots of fun to fill out!!! LOL Thank you

U.S. citizen married to a Filipina in the Philippines, received divorce in the U.S. from filipino wife. Is all I need is a "Affidavit In Lieu of Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry" from the embassy or would I have to get the divorce recognized in the Philippines since my last marriage was in the Philippines to a Filipino? Off Topic: Is there a place online foreigners are monitoring/discussing COVID, travel, and the Philippines. Personally had tickets to come back March 19 but flight to Davao got cancelled. Now I don't know if/when I can go back. Had K1 application approval but need to make other plans.

Good day, I understand that if the K2 follow to join he/she needs to fill-up a separate I-134. On the form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) Part 2 Number 7 (Relationship to sponsor) what would the K2 to follow applicant (18 years old) put in this field? Thanks.
