Today my wife and 6yo stepson's I130s were approved. We're overjoyed as it only took 6 months. Now my wife is very nervous for the interview stage. I keep telling her just tell the truth and everything will be fine. We have a real marriage and nothing to hide. How is the interview process for those seeking spouse visas? Is it really hard or is it easy like our infant son's CRBA interview was? Any tips for the interview?

Background information: I am married to a Filipina since 2011 and we have been living here in the Philippines together since 2006. She was previously married and that marriage was annulled in 2011. My wife has 3 children from her first marriage. Upon annulment, her children were considered illegitimate under Philippine law. In 2016, we jointly filed a petition to legally adopt (and legitimize) her children. In March 2020, this adoption was finalized with a date of effectivity from Oct 2016. We have a small business here in the Philippines. I am 53 years of age. For many reasons, we have decided to emigrate to the United States. My youngest child turns 17 in October and I want to make sure she acquires her US citizenship before she turns 18. I plan on returning to the US in June to establish our small business there, in Denver, CO. I would love input as what is the fastest way to get my wife and 16 year old daughter to the US with me. There seems to be many paths, but it's very confusing what is the best and fastest way. Hoping to hear from you. Thanks!

Hello! I sent my parents I-130 on Aug 30, 2019. Their priority date is Sept 4, 2019. I received both of their Receipt Notice at the same day a week and half after I sent the papers. I received an Approval Email for my father on Apr 29, 2020, 2 days after I received an NVC email with his NVC Case Number. I'm still waiting for my mother's decision. Don't they process papers together? I sent their papers at the same time, in the same envelope, filled out the part in form that it's together with another form with their names on it. If they don't process it together, why would they separate it so far from each other, I can understand if its just a few days delay on my mother's, but its almost a week and its been very frustrating because I have to delay my father's NVC papers so I can file them both with my mom. I tried reaching out to USCIS about my mother's papers and they keep giving a general answer that I already know from the website and not anything case-specific. Anyone there experienced the same issue? What happened to you guys' experience? On the other hand, after receiving the Approval Notice and NVC Case Number. I read that I should make a NVC account. Do I have to make my parents send an email for DS-260 to appoint me as their Agent of Choice to receive notices? The Steps that I understood that I should do is: 1. Send DS-260 email 2. Make NVC account and pay fees (Print barcodes for AOS Packet) 3. Gather Docs and send to NVC: - Applicant and petitioner's birth certificate
- Applicant and petitioner's marriage certificate
- Applicant's passport bio
- Applicant's police clearance and NBI (Philippines)
4. After completion, will receive email for notification and Medical and Interview will be scheduled 5. Send Affidavit of Support - What are the requirements for this?

It s been a year, May 2019, since filing my wife s I-751. It s at the NBC. Shortly after filing we received the NOA. About 2 weeks later she had the biometrics done. But, ever since then, nothing from uscis. It show as for status, that fingerprints were received. we haven t received any other thing from the USCIS. No RFE, no possibility of interview, no nothing. And the case status has been the same since biometrics. Can anyone help with some info?
