AOS Medical Exam Expired

My K-1 and K-2 had medical exams in January 2019, and entered USA in July 2019 just in time, one day before the visa expired. Now we are filing for AOS in May 2020, but the medical exam is over 1 year old. Our previous two attempts were rejected in February and April because of the change in the 485 form, and for only including one 864 the second time. Has anyone been in this situation where the medical exam was over one year old? Is it possible they won't ask for another one?

B2 For Philippine Parents

Hello, just wondering what our chances of approval on this would be.

Wife is a US-Phil dual citizen, been married and living here in US with me, a US citizen, for over 6 years. She wants to have her Philippine parents here in the US for a visit during the holidays in 2021.

Wife s parents are both 60+, living in Philippines, mostly no income. They own a couple pieces of property, one they are living on. All 4 children are adults. One of these adult children is my wife, another encountered complications while here on a workers visa and is in the US illegally, the other two live in the Philippines.

My wife mentions that she read about sponsorship from us affecting the chances of B2 approval for her parents. Is there merit to this, and, if so, what are the recommended financial parameters?

Also, father has dormant Hepititis B. Not sure if this will be a factor.

I also wanted to find out the typical pre-COVID length of processing time, from start to finish on B2 visas in the Philippines.

Thank you.

Can someone tell me if the Care Act applies to K1 Visas?

Title XX Immigration Matters Sec. XX1. Extension of Filing and Other Deadlines. This section creates protections for certain noncitizens in the United States, as well as certain immigrant visa applicants, affected by processing delays and travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Certain noncitizens who were lawfully present in the United States when HHS declared a public health emergency are protected from negative immigration consequences due to the inability to meet filing deadlines or leave the country. Temporary immigration status or work authorization that is set to expire during the emergency is automatically extended for a temporary period. Expiration dates of issued immigrant visas are extended for the duration of the emergency. Immigrant visa numbers that go unused at the end of the fiscal year are rolled over for use in subsequent fiscal years. And voluntary departure deadlines are extended for the duration of the emergency.

We made a trip to the Philippine Embassy in DC in March to renew my Wife's passport, unfortunately the day we arrived is the day they closed because of covid-19. Her passport expires in October, we are planning a trip to Philippines in December.

I there any way to renew passport without trip to embassy? I sent them a message last week, the automatic reply was to come back when they are open.

Any advice will be helpful.

Thanks
